Chapter One At the second they heard the transport spell, the air suddenly grew colder. Without hesitation, they all knew they needed to quicken their pace of the spell, or face whatever had arrived. They were almost done, just a few more phrases, when the figure started to step into view. He was tall and skinny. Probably about 6' 3" tall and weighed about 180 pounds. His black hair was closely trimmed and spiked in the front. His clothes were really what made him spooky though, he wore all black and had some rips in his shirt and pants. His very look sent a chill down Austin's spine. As he slowly got closer to the group chanting the spell, the person's face became more recognizeable. Austin KNEW that he'd seen him somewhere, but he did not have the time to think about where. When they finally were on the last phrase of the spell Austin realized it, the figure was The Deathbringer. He know realized just HOW dire their situation was, but The Deathbringer was too late. They said the last word of the spell and the world started fading away. But just before the world faded completely, The Deathbring did the strangest thing. He smiled. And waved.
