What is the cause for ata other games to fail? Did they offer something similar to epic battles to allow people an alternative to pvp? You see, pvp stifles growth. Can't grow if you are always getting hit, unless you bank. If banking you take a 30% loss. Why continue playing if you can't grow? Is this why FC n GAW failed?
They didn't fail. In the highly competitive iOS application market for tap tap games, fc had a strong lifespan of 3 years. It was removed as the limited playerbase (and cost to market and develop features to attract more players and server fees) would be more costly than removing it from market.
I would argue that if their player base was small and not growing then the game failed to produce enough profit to waste resources on. The definition of a failure
These games didn't fail. Gaw offered family jobs. Which is ebs here. FC was just pvp. Wasn't really hard to grow. Clans would just start wars and one side would just let themselves be hit until the end then the other would forfeit. These games didn't fail. It's just hard to keep something going forever. Kaw will eventually die, but not fail. Just players will get bored of the same old thing and quit.

They didn't fail due to PvP. In fact, that's why they were loved over KaW. They failed because they were ignored by the developers and constantly passed over for updates. FC felt neglected and turned into a ghost town. I never checked in on GaW after launch so I'm not sure about them. But KaW and PiMD are doing fine because they developers took active roles in those games. New stuff is constantly being done, and it, despite its often divisiveness, keeps players around. So you're wrong OP.
EB's killed GaW and that weak ass alliance killed FC. PvP games where no one ever hit battle list or other players over fear of osw.
Gaw and FC were great games. I played both, member of Tank on gaw and 1 of the many gaw players that "migrated" from gaw to fc and made noob rage. Both are great games and were removed due to the games dying, and struggling player bases. This doesn't mean they failed.
I played both GAW and FC and they actually were good but the DEVS focused on kaw and PIMD to much so they died
Let's face it, Fc an gaw became test platforms for KAW, once they weren't needed, DEVS just stopped and focused on the games that would be more flourishing. Now, kaw and pimd are test platforms for each other
