Your profile starts over. Allies, land, pots, price, wins and losses, quest data, are all lost. If you're in a clan you leave (unless you own it. Then you'll still own it). You do keep crystals, nobs, acheivements, forum posts, wall posts, your mute record (if you get perma silenced or something that won't go away).
