What are items in EBs?

If you have just started, or just are wondering how to make easy money fast, here is your answer: make sure you know the when, where, what and how of items in EBs (epic battles). It is crucial to your success to know all these in order to maximize your growing speed.

Let’s start with WHAT are items? In most EBs there are certain phases that require the use of a certain item (or combo of items in some tougher EBs) to complete them. It varies from EB to EB and is very rarely the same item (only Cover of Night and The Depraved have the same item, all else are different). The items we are talking about are just everyday pots (potions) bought at the marketplace that are used by themselves in an EB. If used at the correct time and place, your bonus after your clan finishes the EB will be many times greater than that of you just unloading on it every hour.

Next is the WHEN and WHERE. As I said before, the items used are different in every EB as well as well as when the time is to use them. It is important that you know the when and where of every eb so that you are able to get in as many as you can before the item phase is over. It is important to note that when you use items, it does a certain amount of damage to the "bar" each time you use it. With that being said, the items phase is not on a time limit, it is just depleted as members of your clan use items to damage the bar.

Here is a list of all T1 & T2 EBs(if you are doing higher EBs and don’t know the item, then you should ask your clan owner), their items, what phase items comes, approximant hits, damage per hit, and bonus per hit, and overall available bonus. These stats only apply to the item parts, nothing else!

Now for the HOW of items. When you use items in an EB, you use them by themselves, not as a booster to another action. When you see that your clan is doing one of the above EBs, go to the market place, buy however many of the specific item you will need, then when the items part of the eb starts, click Fightitem the item you will need for this eb continuerepeat action. Keep repeating the action until the item is unsuccessful or it would have no effect. Once the item is unsuccessful, you can close that screen and participate in eb as you normally would. The exceptions to that is The Depraved and The Reckoning whose need for the use of items regenerate every two minutes. If you are doing The Depraved or The Reckoning, repeat action until unsuccessful, then wait two minutes till items regen, then continue using items until unsuccessful, and repeat. If you do not get in as many items as this guide says you should be able to, it is because other members of your clan are doing items right along with you and you should start clicking the repeat button as fast as possible so you can get more than they do

The WHY part of doing the items is quite simple: because you want LOTS OF GOLD :!: As you can see from the chart above, the return rate on the items is many times what the cost you pay to purchase the items. Many people don't understand how much items can play a part in your growing until they are almost 1m+ stats. If you can get into the habit of knowing when, where and what the items are in the EBs your clan is doing and be able to hit the items part of every EB, then your growing rate will increase exponentially. Make sure to participate in the EB with your spies and troops as well because this will not only get you an even better bonus at the end, not to mention the plunder you earn from attacking or stealing, but it also keeps your clan mates on your good side so they are not angry at you for showing up for the items then taking of again
