wars/pots-my experiment

  1. Hey all. So i.was talking to my owner, on the subject of wars when he mentioned that he makes gold just by me having pots.
So i.had.4k gold out and had him hit me when i was potted up.
He then informed me that he made 32mil off me because of my pots.

So i hit him then, when he had no def. Pots and only made 13mil. I then had him fully pot up and i hit, making 32mil. Over double that i made when he had 0 pots.

So i came to thinking, in theory 0 def pots and 0 gold.would mean 0 plunder for enemy in war right? NOPE

I then emptied all my def. Pots , and banked so i only had 567 good out. I then posted in wc asking for someone to hit me and tell me how much they got.

I was surprised when i got told they were making 22mill off me. When i had less then a 8th of that out.

So where is this gold coming from? This is for yall to answer.
    Please keep answers on topic.

  2. All the income your opponent makes off you that isn't part of the pot plunder bonus essentially comes out of thin air.

What you have out has no effect on what they make.

  3. It comes from the the end of the rainbow

  4. When you have def pots, people earn more when they hit you, its either going to be:

System gold - if you have 0 gold out

    or

Your own gold - if you have gold out

  5. It comes from your dead troops, the enemy goes thru their pockets, sells off their equipment. Carves up the carcasses and sells meat to the villagers...

  6. lol

the gold you get is based on a few things. your build, your stats, your troop level, and their total strength. (not a complete list)

hitting larger targets= more money. when someone has full pots their stats are higher, so you get more gold.

  7. So system provides when u have no gold or pots? Seems a little screwy

  8. Well, think about it - if nobody had any money out during these wars (and the system didn't provide it) it'd be exactly like the mass turtling in the old system.

  9. Yep. Unlimited goooooold

  10. To answer you, yes, system provides gold if you have none. When you have gold you lose a percentage of it. If you have billions out and get hit you will lose hundreds of millions in one hit, your enemy won't make that, they will only make thier normal plunder off you.

  11. Still seems screwy to me

  12. This makes me wonder. Because I was hit and I had o defense pots but I had 39b out...the person who hit me was taking 300m a hit...he only has a level 3 colony so I was wondering why he was able to take so much at a time

  13. you lost a percentage of the gold you have out.

the amount of gold that a player gets from hitting you is calculated differently than the amount that you lose from being hit.

  14. Hard to lose a.percentage. A percentage of 0 is still 0

  15. Lol. 13m extra from full pots. No more no less no matter the stats. And you make a base plunder amount and then their amount of gold u get an added % from it. And u take a higher %. I forget the exact statistics but ive done a lot of research on this and found that its best to have only one def pot " seal of divinity ". Hope this helps

  16. Also ur base plunder you make can vary on the stats of the person ur hitting. So another words if a large player was hitting a gh. They wouldnt get **** unless the defender had money out. But say a gh was hitting someone with 8m cs. And the defender had 0$ out the gh would still make a considerable amount more.

  17. Having gold out or not has no effect on what an attacker will earn

  18. yeah. that is why you don't lose gold when you don't have any gold out.

  19. Okay so another question...what would be the percent for stealing cause I was stealing from someone with 1 pot at 7.4m spy defense...I used full pots and both spells and only got 24m first hit and he had 252b out...
