War?

  1. Why are hybrids a bad choice for warring? People have been telling me that hybrids get destroyed in war most of the time. I though that they would be perfect cause their strong in both att troops and spys! Can anyone shed some light on this for me please??

  2. While a hybrid may have "strong" stats in both troops and spies, not focusing on one or the other means you have lower defense and lower spy defense than other players your size. For example, a 4mil attack build would have 2mil attack and 2mil defense. A 4mil spy would have 2mil spy attack and 2mil spy defense. A 4mil hybrid might have 1mil attack, 1m defense, 1m spy attack, 1m spy defense, leaving them a weaker target for both the spy build and the attack build. A hybrid can only effectively (successfully) defend against or attack smaller builds.

  3. Perfect explanation

  4. Perfect explanation angel

  5. Perfect but flawed.

A hybrid with stupid BFA is one of the scariest things you will find on KaW -
Takes time to build, for efficiencys sake you'd need 5tr plus in allies.

/sick of people ragging on hybrids.

  6. Thank u all, I really appreciate all the help

  7. Metal, Lights didn't mention BFA. For simplicity's sake I made the most basic explanation I could. A hybrid with huge BFA is scary, but so is any other build.

  8. Hybrids actually are good in wars, IF they have spy stats closer to their attk stats

  9. Incorrect. I successfully took down a hlbc in a 1vs1 with maybe a 1m combined ally

  10. But isn't a hybrid more flexible? Sure an attack build will win about 75% of fights, but he will lose 75% of spy's. If it was a Hansel, you couldn't go against both spies or attack with the same strategy.

  11. Hybrids are a bad war choice, they are perfect for ebs though. Hansel is the way to go for wars my friend

  12. Hybrids are bad in SW, but in OSW, they should be fine. I mean, it's easier to pot burn as spies or farm Hansels isn't it?

  13. In a osw hansels will keep their troops pinned almost 24/7, this is what makes them such a threat, hybrids cant touch them unless they are a smaller player

  14. Another good ability of a hybrid is they function like a hansel, meaning pin your troops and steal then attack from pin.

As a hansel I can attack 5-7mil comb stat attack builds from pin with pots. I don have crazy for that matter really any Bfa I can only imagine with 5 trill in allies I'd be fine against most opponents. This was pointed out before by a man and his legal team...

  15. Well if a hybrid plays it right they can be taking on an attack build using their spies and a spy build using their troops at the same time

  16. Possible, but vary rare since they have lower stats

  17. They target the weakness. Put it like this. The hybrid has about 4 mil spy CS and maybe 4-6 CS attack. "Just guessing". The attack build might have anywhere up to 3 mil spy defence. An attack build has a hard time pot burning that, yet a hybrid would have no problems. At the same time, a hybrid is harder to hit in attacks or can pin when online. Point is, Hybrids can easily act as an adp or sdp burner. It's harder for a Hansel to get all 11 adps burned. It's harder for an attack build to burn any sdps. But a hybrid has no such limitations. They can use both troops and spies effectively rather then seeing them as their weakness.

  18. Realistically I think if a hybrid is targeted by multiple accounts it's screwed, but and that's a big butt I'm proposing here in a 1v1 situation they are highly effective.

Unfortunately most players that are hybrids don't play an aggressive style of play placing them firmly in the mouth of the beast. To add too this size is beneficial but a smaller sized player that knows his or her build mechanics can and will slap a larger player about with great effectiveness regardless of build.

  19. Before T5's I could take down an hlbc 

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
