The old clan rank system vs new clan rank system, prepare yourselves. Today we're going to take a step back and look at KaW's soon-to-be implemented update from a different, slightly logical point of view and compare it to our current/old clan system. How you ask? By weighing the PROS AND CONS /end gameshowlaughter Let's start. OLD CLAN RANK SYSTEM PROS 1. Cost effective (doesn't cost anything for ranks) 2. Simple and fast (admin or member, what more is there?) 3. Familiar (What KaWers are used to) CONS 1. Admins are given too many rights/abilities and abuse it (Badmins) 2. Exploitable system :lol: @pipe 3. The clan rank system is/was outdated (depending on the time I post this) 4. Boring and uninventive NEW CLAN RANK SYSTEM PROS 1. New and interesting 2. Acts as a money sink 3. Incorporates role specific ranks (specific abilities given to promoted members) 4. Less risk of exploitation/system abuse (but more excitement :lol: ) 5. Sort of promotes clan loyalty in that you wouldn't leave a clan where you hold a high rank 6. A complex system CONS 1. Already receiving backlash and isn't even implemented yet 2. The money sink (because it's hurting all the wrong people) 3. The update is long overdue (does this count? o.o) 4. Sort of disrupts clan killing >.> 5. Even less clan loyalty (people could strive for achieving high ranks in multiple guilds) 6. Not even remotely cost effective 7. I'm not sure I like this update. Certain ranks are limited so not everyone who is currently admin will be able to get the rank that they deserve. Also,the owner is spending all their gold to give people ranks.
Y'all still don't get it. Owner buys first rank. Than promotes someone. Than those two people buy more ranks and owner promotes two more. Than those four can buy more ranks and so on. Essentially owner only has to shell out 1t if they promote "rich" 2ic
