  1. sup KaW...
    I got a question ...

When Im upgrading my T5's in Highland... and say I got 6 snake pits...
3 are lvl 1s... and the other 3 are lvl 2s
I got 93 billion and I got to thinkin... cus, I do that from time to time...
    (A) Should I upgrade another lvl 1 to lvl 2 or (B) upgrade a lvl2 to lvl3 ???

I wanted to know wants the better payoff after I upgrade one of the two...
    (A) 4x lvl2's with 2x lvl 1s ... or ... (B) 3x lvl 2 with 1x lvl 1 and 1x lvl 3 ...

which option would allow more plunder per next attack hit ???
which option would allow more attack strength to my kingdom ???

  2. Isn't the rule of thumb, "Don't build a building unless you can take it straight to level 2 at least"

I believe the tier below max level gives more plunder, in this case t4L3

So I would say, bump all l1 to l2 first then continue with setting up l2's

(max em all in the end)

  3. Ow Mathis hurst me brain

  4. Ug to L2 first.

  5. I recommend taking everything to L1, then everything to L2, and so on (assuming your next land cost more than a L1 T5, and that your next land costs more than an L2 T5 when you go to do your L2 upgrades).

L1 T5 has higher stats and gives more plunder than L3 T4, so it makes sense to convert all to T5 L1 (which will raise your plunder a bit, making it easier to afford the more expensive L2 upgrades and so on).

  6. General rule if thumb, do the next cheapest thing that will raise your plunder.

  7. But the increase in stats if you upgrade lvl 1>lvl 2 is much more significant. Do what matters more, a teeeeeensy bit of plunder, or a large increase in stats

  8. Plunder. What's easier to get, 75 bil, or 25? And when each 25 bil investment increases your plunder it gets easier as you go, especially when you get to L2's.

  9. I believe L1T5 is lower plunder than L3T4, otherwise I totally agree.

    Till I see a comparison of numbers I can't be 100%

  10. T5 L1 gives more plunder than T3 L4

  11. 25b or 75b Is a fair point.. But still if you want stats, upgrading to level 2 is best, also for him it's only 50b seeing as he has the level 1s already.

  12. thanks everyone...
    for all the insight...

but next time... when I phrase the question like that...

could yall jus say... "A" or "B" ... and why...

    thanks everyone... Party on...

  13. I'm a retired player just dropping by. If what AKRhino is saying is true then game mechanics must have changed since I played. Plunder is attached to numbers of troops, yes? T3L4 has 2000 troops and T5L1 has 900 troops. Been a while since I played and we didn't have T5s so forgive if I speak from ignorance.

  14. To be honest, it doesn't make a great deal of difference how you upgrade at your stage, building t5s that is.

As long as you are buying or upgrading something, the plunder you make or lose from building what ever way is minimal.

  15. *Facepalm... All wrong... tear your highlands down, strip it to nothing and you be ok

  16. Mik you are correct, however t5 troops make a lot more plunder per troop and provide a larger increase to ally plunder bonus

  17. Re: upgrading T5's ...n

I've had a real handle on building for a while but stumped on T5. All previous tiers without question L3 then build another. Torture Gardens are the only building I can say for certain increase plunder. How ever if you tear down a L3 Titan neither a L1 or L2 Torture Garden will replace the income.
Take a good read on Wulf's A L1 T5 has a tiny increase. You'd be better of putting 25 or 50 in the ally market and wait to build a L3

  18. Just upgrade those lvl1s to lvl2, so you don't have to in the future
