The dark had flowed onto the ever lighted city, scaring the citizens. I held a candle and sat on my bed, reading..... FINISH THE STORY! MAKE IT SUSPENCFUL! GOODLUCK :3
Now before I continue you must understand, it's not my fault I'm evil. It all started with my parents, my dad, he hated my magic.
My mother, on the other hand, was a mystery. I never knew her. In fact, nobody did, except of course my father. I had always speculated that it was from her that I got my magic, but my innocent mentioning of this idea to my dad at the tender age of five earned me a backhand upside the head that sent me sprawling, and an order to "never suggest such a thing ever again"
Of course, to interrupt the perfect summoning, that White Wind blew through the window. It always tries to intercept plans but the seal was always to much for it. I played with the idea of trying to trace it, but the last time that little fireball vanished before I could follow.
This time, the little bold thing broke the seal on the window. Never thought it would carve delicate little symbols of fire and shoot great sparks in a futile attempt to burn the book. A voice eerily like the angelic little girl laughed from nowhere.
(Go easy on me. This is my second KaW round robin forum game and my second serious one counting the tvtropes world creation project.) That annoying little girl. The only other magician I knew and my personal little rival.
The villagers would have to wait. The little girl, my rival, would be my first victim. She would also be a test of my growing power. The puppy in my hands yelped as I plunged my dagger deep into it. It's blood dumped onto the floor where I had drawn the summoning circle. The blood of the innocent would summon the corrupt. The circle began to glow and the ground shook under me.
Before i knew it, a fissure had appeared. My plan had worked. I grinned as it swallowed up the girl like a child does candy.
With the whelp of a child out of the way I could began the systematic slaughter of the villagers. After all, it was they who imprisoned me in the tower after I "accidentally," burned my father to a crisp. I had been working on the channeling of flame when it happened. I started with smaller things like mice. Then I moved to chickens. What a fiery explosion they make! It was only natural to see if I could catch my fathers clothes on fire. The spell just worked better than I thought it would. After that those ignorant villagers locked me in the tower. They should have worshipped me for my power. I put on my innocent face and begged them for a companion. Finally, they gave me the puppy. If only they knew it was the key to my salvation. Now the demon was mine to control. I just needed to focus to control it.
It seemed the sacrifice had accepted the girl as well. The summoned monster was a good deal stronger than I expected. No matter, all it would take was a little more focus.
The thing jumped out the window hole left by the broken seals and within seconds the sound of screaming and flame was heard. Oh well. Not that it interfered in my grand plan to conquer to world. Although I'd prefer to make them fear me, a little collateral damage could be fixed later. After I exerted a fraction of my true power to control it, I rode upon the great beast and charged to the citadel of the village leader. A rather antique castle, it featured a very powerful magic circle no doubt the handiwork of that girl. Speaking of her, despite the fact I witnessed the ground eat her, she was charging at me with a knife in hand. I shot another fireball and a bolt of lightning. Both struck true. She was dead on the floor within a second. And then she stepped out from behind a potted tree and was able to cut me twice before she died. After I don't know how long and how many weapons, and at least twenty of her corpses on the floor(some form of immortality spell. Must figure how to replicate) I eventually was able to shoot her with several conjured arrows and blast her out the window. As the onslaught of that sorceress girl Isabella ended, I stepped into the throne room of the city lord. He was sliced into thin cubes and eaten by my mount. I think I might keep it, if I can tame the crazed thing. I took the city lord's scepter of office. A little torture and the city was mine. A few years later, with only a mild resistance remaining, I reclined on a velvet throne overlooking the town. One of my golems entered. "Why do you interrupt me?" I questioned. "My liege, Sorceress Isabella has gathered an army and is attacking the city gates again." The golem answered. No matter. I summoned my mount and we were off to kill that woman for the seven hundredth time. If I was lucky I might reach a thousand kills. That woman never tired of dying, apparently.
Discard the last post by Ned. Only one post. Not two. Or three. Just one. Then someone else posts. Then he can post again.
As I rode my now flying mount ( thanking the golem's heart being grown from the puppy, it had recommended slaying a nearby dragon, which hates dogs, which yielded some excellent parts to graft on my mount) I thought it strange that after killing Isabella a few hundred times and hours of unspeakable magical mental torture every time I captured her, she hadn't given up. Presumably the angel blood in her, judging by the massive misfire in which I summoned an archon angel and not a fiend when I used blood from that sorceress in a quick ritual. She'd been a study in 'where to find an army in the wilds in the literal edge of the city of Nowhere' and this time did not disappoint. A dazzlingly large array of elves had assembled itself on one end with the royal family at front, and on the other side, Isabella's flying chariot driven by battle-armored swans, and an army I strongly doubted was not conjured out of average-density air. Her siege had made a sizable hole in the gate and was overwhelming my golems. A sweeping wave of my arm and a wave of crystalline ice smashed half the elven army to dust and a sonic boom blasted Isabella's siege off MY city walls. Isabella countered with a single high, piercing note. This was complemented by the now-singing elf army and musicians under the sorceress's banner. "Trying to sing me to death? Not working!" I shouted to her as I circled. "It's not for you! It's to call someone!" she yelled back. I could have sworn those swans were glaring at me now. And just like that, the sky split open and a gigantic archangel stepped down. To counter, I summoned an equally huge sea monster leviathan, sweeping away armadas as it grappled the mighty warrior. Isabella was unfazed by this, and started shooting me with a dastardly array of weapons.
BRW just asking, does posting first nonstarter post give you full rule over decisions for this thread? And/or are you the person who started this? Just saving time.
