So I've always wanted to figure out why towers cause you to lose plunder, this may not be right or in anyway correct. But through reasonable deduction I've came to the conclusion that it seems like you only lose plunder because towers don't provide any plunder and take up a land that you could have built a building that would increase your plunder. So therefore to the best of my knowledge Towers don't decrease plunder, they just provide no plunder neither increase nor decrease hence being a neutral building only providing static stats. Open for discussion, but this is what I've come up with this far. Thanks for reading
Towers definitely hinder plunder potential. The only way I believe you can lose plunder is if you're on the bad side of the plunder curve (part where strength ratio takes effects) Your strength increases whilst target's does not, resulting in a lower plunder. Ask UPC, he's the person who does this stuff.
people like wulf will tell you they do not decrease plunder, but remove room that could increase it. this is technically true, but in practice false. you know how you make shitty money on war beasts because its tiny? or attacking someone half your size? thats happening. they boost your bta and so you make less money on previous targets than if you had the land empty.
