It's NOT true! 1 can be said to be shown as 3/3...but if u take 1/3 and convert to decimal it becomes .3333 repeating. Now convert 2/3 and you get .6666 and so on...therefore it would be logical to present 3/3 as .9999 repeating decimal but we already know 3/3 is = 1...but without rounding .999 will not be that 1... So 1 does not = 1 and therefore 1 1 can NOT = 2. Life goes on unchanged.
