The Symptomatic Approach

  1. Are you a fan of global warming? Me too.

That's why I want to propose a new approach to this "global warming" with a new method.

Instead of getting to the root of the problem, why don't we just deal with the symptoms?

For example, with the rising sea levels, why not just make the ocean deeper so it can hold all the extra water?

Why not use the dirt from the ocean floor to make a huge wall along all the world's coastlines to prevent flooding?

Why not find an oil reserve while digging in the ocean?

Why not use that to fuel our cars?

Why not buy better, more powerful air conditioners to deal with the hotter weather? That will cool the planet down enough so that we don't die.

And who needs polar bears? We can just let them go extinct. Survival of the fittest.

We could also colonize Antarctica and mine it for resources (by the time it is thawed we will be out of the ones we currently have) or even move there once the rest of the world gets too hot.

  2. support! stop spending our taxes on defense purposes and start digging in the ocean now!

  4. Even though you're being sarcastic, you make reasonable point.

There is no preventing a climate shift. Im not suggesting we should help accelerate the process, but might as well start prepping for it.

  5. Oh my god, the logic is amazing, 10 points for creativity.
    I was laughing so hard!
