Disclaimer This thread is in no way promoting violence or murder, its just a discussion thread. So, many of you may have heard of the infamous icicle as being the perfect murder weapon. But I have to disagree, mainly because an icicle would be more than likely to break on impact... And if somehow it doesn't then it probably wouldn't be a fatal stab wound. So I put some thought to this and thought of something... Wood. Wood is durable, can be sharpened, and can be naturally disposed of like ice. Ice melts, wood can burn. But I was not thinking of burning wood, because even then it could leave traces... So with some more thought I thought of these little guys... That's right... Termites... These guys, if in a pact, can tear through some wood. And they will devour every last grain. So that wooden dagger or perhaps wooden samurai sword you crafted... Yeah well its as good as gone... So what do you think the perfect murder weapon would be? Share your thoughts below.
Alright. Perfect murder weapon. A wild animal. Say, a wolf. Somebody finds a man mauled by a wolf, it was clearly death by animal attack. Not a murder, definitely not premeditated. Of course, it'd be very difficult to get your target in an area with wolves, and then insure they die from the wolfs attack, but after accomplishing this there should be no way to trace anything to you.
Although the wood may seem like a good idea, what about the slivers stuck in the body? Would you bring the termites to the body, or dispose of the weapon with termites in a different place?
A weapon that you can launch from a distance would work well. Preferably something hand made with no known ballistics
Slingshot? I thought of this, my solution would be to sand down the wood so splinters wouldn't be a problem or also put a finish over it... And make sure the wood is thick and tough. Plus the temple area is a soft and vulnerable spot that shouldn't provide much resistance. So I didn't see that as much of an obstacle.
Or just a syringe with oxygen. Inject into a major vein and it should kill. The autopsy should show up as heart failure or a heart attack.
Then that form of murder would only be plausible on someone who uses needles on a daily basis. You bring up a good point I didn't really think of though.
Haha, forensic files for me .. Kinda old school but part of the reason that inspired me to make this thread.
NCIS. Maybe blunt chunk of ice? Bludgeon the poor fellow to death? But the ice might break... What about... Just beating the crap out of them with a log?
Arsenic poisoning. Fatal if ingested, tasteless, colorless, odorless. Untraceable unless directly tested for.
Your name... but anyway, that's the problem. If they can't find out why the person died I assume they'll do alternate testings like that.
There was a weapon developed in the U.S. that shot a tiny ice bullet which had a poison inside. When the bullet hit someone the bullet would slowly melt, releasing the poison. This, in turn, caused a heart attack and killed the victim. The bullet would melt and the poison was specially chosen to have disappeared by the time of an autopsy. No signs of injury would be found due to the tiny bullet size and the death would be put down to natural causes.
Potassium chloride is even harder to diagnose as being used as a poison. It is the hardest to prove due to the fact the body releases large amount of it after a person dies. More than is needed to kill someone. I really shouldn't be tellng a forum board this but screw it. Potassium is the perfect murder weapon.
