  1. The Legend of Bahamut

The sound of the thuding and clanking from the rain pounding on the armor rang in his ears. Water seeped through the open crevasses of his metal plates and drenched every inch of the warrior's aching and weary body. He drew each breath heavily gasping for air to try filling his lungs with the unseen matter. With his sharp, crimson eyes the dragon stared into his foe's and could see his determination to continue fighting. The warrior hunched over in a stance with the tip of his spear targeting the large, fiersome monster and he began to make his descent towards the dragon to make one last final blow. He could feel his heartbeat grow faster as each step drew him nearer to the beast and the only thought going through his head was plunging the spear held in his hands through the very heart of the creature that had tormented so many lives. The dragon dived towards the warrior with it mouth gaping wide open and it's roar drowned out the sound of the rain as it echoed throughout it's surroundings. The warrior lunged and threw his arms with spear in his hands towards the heart of the beast...

    Bahamut, King of the Dragons:

Long ago in the vast land of Beelzebub, a land which few have dared to set foot upon, lived a great dragon known as Bahamut . A fierce dragon who ruled the other dragons of the land. Fire that spew from the breath of the beast's mouth could engulf entire villages within a matter of minutes. Each of it's wings when expanded was a span of four soldiers in length and a mighty roar from the creature would alert villagers miles away of their home's impending doom. It had crimson red eyes with black ovals that had sharp points on the ends. The scales that layered Bahamut was tougher than minerals hand-crafted by mother Gaia herself and was difficult for weapons forged from the strongest of metals by the finest blacksmiths of the lands to penetrate the rough skin. Few had encountered the great dragon and lived to tell the tale.

    The Grand Dragoon Knight:

Alas, while many feared the fearsome Bahamut there was one brave soul who hailed from the region of Palronia, the land of men, that was willing to take upon the challenge of slaying the foul creature that tormented the poor citizens of the region. His name was Cypher and he was one of the greatest dragoons, knights who specialize in slaying dragons, to serve under King Faust's army.

Many throughout the region heard of the valiant warrior and his merits. Rarely did he speak and he always paused shortly to carefully plan how he would word each response to others. Those who followed the path of a dragoon aspired to be as great and accomplished as Cypher. He survived the Great War of Palronia, lead armies in the war of Zanarkand vs. the Deus Ex Machina, conquered many lands and most of all he had fell hundreds of dragons by the might of his very own hands.
By now the Sentient, the high council which goverened the various kingdoms of Palronia, decided to gather the bravest and most mighty knights of the land for Cypher to command in taking down the threat which the all of the kingdoms of the land feared the most, Bahamut. Before taking on the king of dragons Cypher needed a weapon that could pierce the hardened scales that lined his foe's body, the knight needed Gungnir.

    Gungnir:

After disscusion with King Faust and the Sentient, Cypher gather 8 of the greatest warriors to go retrieve Gungnir from the Elven land Rendarvia in the vast woodlands of the Erlkonig. Gungnir was no ordinary weapon but was a spear hand crafted by the elders of the Elves to slay the fiercest dragons whom dared entered the inhabited woods. The spear had a long silver rod with black markings that wrapped around the pole in a snake like manner. The most intriguing feature however was the spearhead. Adorned on the end of of the spear was a triangular, green crystal imbued with magic from the ancient wizards that could tear through the hide of any dragon it came in contact with.
Cypher readied his noble steed, Odin, and rode off with the 8 knights towards the Elven woodlands to retrieve the powerful weapon that was key if he desired to defeat the feared dragon king, Bahamut.

    Note:
This is only the intro and more, of the story is soon to come.

  2. the legend of fail. the legendary failing by using stolen pictures in a lane attempt at writing a story

  3. I don't know why you invest so much time in this section of the forums d_bo but I did see this coming. Anyways, I needed a break from my regular foruming of asking random questions like who's the best guitarist or my Doomsday: How This Will end thread. I just hop I don't get too lazy or busy and never finish the story. :(

  4. and I don't know you'd bother writing such a retarded story such as this.

it's like a handicapped, over exaggerated story of an epic battle. written by dumbasses.

  5. and really. why actually name threads you've posted like its some sorta bragging rights lolz.

and FYI. I don't invest tons of time in FF. I pop in several times a day, see if anyone has posted anymore crap, then I toss in a quick response and/or leave.

I can assure you. it takes very little time.

  6. ^We should hire this guy.

  7. Dude you probably got that out of the book dragon rider noob a hole creep who rights stupid storys that he takes random pics that aren't even close to the description I vote this guy is a NOOB

  8. Well, I will admit to being a noob. I just recently explored the Fan Fiction area of forums and decided to make a story in my free time. However, the story is original but I'll explain where I got the names and photos from.

    Bahamut:
Bahamut is usually a powerful dragon summon in various versions of Final Fantasy. The picture is in fact a random one found on photobucket but Bahamit himself was inspired by the many different versions of Bahamut within various titles of the Final Fantasy franchise.

    Cypher's Picture:
The man in the picture is actually Cecil from Final Fantasy 4 but while he served as inspiration for my character who was actually named after the Matrix character who betrays everyone but my story is NOT a copy of the Final Fantasy character.

    The Rest:
Beezlebub- A Semitic deity worshipped in the past which translates to "Lord of the Flies" (Yes, that is a reference to the book with the same title)

Faust- The name of a character who makes a deal with the devil which had a wonderful adaptation of the story written by Goethe

Gaia- Goddess of the Earth in Greek mythology and could br considered "mother nature"

Zanarkand- A ill fated city in Final Fantasy 10 thats falls victim to Sin the creature which is discovered to be a dream world I think. ( I played the game many years ago.)

Deus Ex Machina- Comes from the latin phrase for the plot device but I used it's direct translation in my story.

Well, after taking a good look at my story I can see how the pictures kind of ruined it and I don't think all my references of other works really fit in nicely. I'm not much of a writer but I wanted to try my hand at a story. I'll probably try this again with material that's a bit more original and make my references fit a little better but you don't know what your capable of until you've tried it and meet success or failure. Sorry for my lame story but I'll hopefully improve when I post in the future.

P.S. As far as this story goes he slayed the dragon. The end.

  9. Ugh, my Cypher description is just a long, unorganized sentence but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

  10. we can tell you're not much of a writer. find a new hobby.

maybe you can start a micro machines collection?
