Well here is my dillema. This is my first time linking an account onto a "smart phone". Well it turns out that when you play apps that require constant Internet connection it goes onto your data plan... -_- After a certain while playing this game you will eventually go over budget on your data. Since I only have two phones on my plan I share a total of 5 gigabytes with my cell phone carrier; which is a reasonable amount in my opinion. After the first month of mainly using kaw on my phone without wifi, I received the bill. I turns out that my wife used 1g of my 5 g plan. So I had an extra 4g left for me to use without any extra charges... My bill cost me $672.78. I went many gigabytes over my plan. So along with a pissed off wife I now have to ride my bike to work for a week. Thanks thinking apes! Point of thread- Should there be a tab within the help section so that you can read about how much data this app eats? Comment below your own story like this unless you just want to make fun of me and my marriage. have a fantastic day.
Reserved and I didn't say the amount of gigabytes used because if you did the math you could figure out which cell phone carrier I was using and this be breaking the TOU of third party advertising
Unless you don't have a house with a wifi connection, I don't see how you could have used that much. When you have a wifi connection available use it lol
Wifi/internet land line connection is very poor out in the Great Plains. For some reason I still get 1/2 bar 3G. Go figure
When I played KaW constantly using 3G instead of wi-fi I went over once. And I only had like 3gb or something. Even then I'd get a notification alerting me like twice before I actually went over, and was offered the choice of paying an extra $10-$15 for another GB. Using AT
I don't think KaW really saps that much data. Much of it was probably something else you had running.
Yea I went over once...the struggle is real. But honestly since then I've never gone over even though my play time is consistent and my 3G/wifi time is about the same. Idk man. It just happens sometimes. Best of luck.
There are several apps you can download that will monitor your data usage and restrict apps to wifi only.
