Although the following story is from a KaW noob's point of view, it tells the tale of my early days in KaW. Back in the days of September - November '09. It tells a tale of joy and of woe. Of revolution and of suppression. Hear my ballad and remember.... The Golden Days Noob's Point of View Inside a huge, ornate ballroom, a celebration was in full swing. The dancefloor was full, the buffet was plentiful and all the guests were having a great time. My name is 1337FISHSTIKS_435. I own a few war forges in the Lowlands, and on this particular night, I was at a Clan Festival. Being new to the area, I didn't really know anyone. So I decided to hang back and lean against the wall. I watched the party. It was in celebration of a well executed Plunder War, and the OSFs where using a part of their winnings to throw this get together. Well, As long as there was food and drink, I was happy. I decided to grab a breath of fresh air. The ballroom was beginning to get hot. I made my way slowly through the crowd, jostling a few of the richer Lords, until I reached the small wooden backdoor that led into the garden. I pushed it open, and took a deep breath. The night was cool, and there was a little fog seeping through the grass blades. I looked up at the stars. It was peaceful here, apart from the muffled booming of the music inside. The garden was empty, save for a group of people huddled around a fire. I decided to join them. Upon approaching the fire pit, I was rather surprised by what I saw. Many men and women where sitting in a circle, all facing one man, who was sitting on a log. The man they were watching looked grizzled; as if he had seen too many rough days. He already had a shock of silver hair, even though he couldn't have been older than twenty five. He looked up, and motioned to me to sit down. I complied, and after a moments pause, he began to tell a story.
