Here it is in a nutshell. If you understand my second point and use the first you'll never loose. 1: Activity. Look, don't war if you work 13 hours a day and expect to have allies in a war. Be active. Pay for xtals after your quest freebie ones are used up and for the love of Pete set an alarm to log on and unload troops. 2: Understand what an activity does for you and your victim. So, an attack makes you x$, no? What does it do to the enemy of they have 0 $ up? Do scouts burn pots? Why does every steal no matter how many spies you have only destroy .002% of available funds on your victim? Run some tests and learn how the game is played on a player to player thing. I'd ask a clan mate if I could steal them, then again with 0$ out. What happened? Is it relative sizes of attacker and victim? Builds? Allies? Pots? Come now, you can't play a game this much and not try and learn how it's played, no? Recently I attended a mith war with one of by buddies who's been playing as long as I have (09) and we still had to discuss semantics on how to optimize out winnings. It's ok to talk it out. Never teach falsehoods either. Some dope keeps making Hansel guides on forums. No one makes $ like that in T4. We left that when T3 was over and highlands came. Get with the current game and be specific on what works and what doesn't. Now, post what you've learned below and if you're wrong I'll call shennagins.
Thanks Swag, give us some tips. What do you know about game mechanics? Scout a buddy and tell me how pots works on a scout.
How bout hiring a crapload of 'dud' allies to hide your good ones. That and making sure they don't know if you're online.
Yea, heartfall and moonlight. Good ideas both. I once kept a load of 0:0:0:0 allies and was online when Dresdon (the guy who declared war on iG from fox alliance) decided to strip me. I kept buying more crap and so he kept buying it off me. Best strip I ever had. Play around and see what works. Post facts below and we'll all get better.
Yes, chairborn, but my phone buzzing at night when I slept from my junk getting bought alerted me to 4 avoided strip outs. Zaft leaving 'sweet dreams' on my wall and German foxes buying like mad so I had to get up and self pin. Activity in off hours is an option for me. Other players use different ideas.
I usually look for allies that don't have the pro banner and have a noob name (random letters #s etc.) so I can disguise them easier with the crap allies.
When scouting on the battle using scout I can see your build and take down your spies with out running into pots! Yet when I assassinate/steal I burn pots and take your gold or kill your troops which is done being unknown until I fail.
Correct both of you. Free cookie. Now, for double word score. Say the two of you were gonna war just little old me. Would scouting play a factor since you won't burn any of my pots, and I'm only 25% spy? Keep in mind this is you 2 on just 1. Let's pretend we all have 13 highlands t4 or better.
I got one for ya swab. Make friends. Who know what they are doing also. Another one. If u have never really been in a real war and have only pwar'd/eb go out and get urself into a real war. Just one time and u learn so much
An yes scouting would drop ur spies to make it easier to assn. Quick would drop ur troops making it easier to attk u
Yea, bhs... That's what I'm saying. Try something and you can post your learning here. There's plenty of guides for eb, and they most certainly have their place. Now, let's learn how to do the other parts of this game. Display some game math or steal wins against you according to how much $ you have out. Pics are great. Prove the devs statement of .002 per steal.
I have found that consistency n focus on 1-2 targets not only burns pots and takes money , of course, but begins a psychological game with them and their clan mates.
