This is a dedication to a special Kawer named LunarKat81. Let me tell you about her: Kat is one of the sweetest and funniest people i have ever met let alone just in the KaW-munity. She was diagnosed with ALS and when she started playing she knew her time here would be short but she wanted to make the best of it. You could talk to her for hours and dhe would listen. Family was the most important thing to her, especially her young son Isaac. She also loved her husband who took care of her while she was slowly getting worse. How did i meet her: Being an ML admin i see alot of people come an go from the clan. One day someone i would later call a great friend, LunarKat81, joined as a trainee. She was fun, sweet, and brought great energy to the clan. Everyone that talked to her had nothing but nice things to say. One day she told us she wouldnt be here long and we all were curious. As we learned she had been diagnosed with ALS and at one point she wouldnt be able to play any more. She had come to terms with the fact that one day she would pass and didnt want anyone to worry about it. Her time in ML: She was not always the most active but when she was she would always chat with everyone. She made others happy and seemed to make herself happy to have people to talk to. Time went on and her condition slowly got worse to the point she could barely keep up with chat. The whole time her goal was to reach 2 million combined stats to become a probie/ full merc. One day though a bully/ troll started to make her feel bad to the point she wanted to quit KaW. We all assured her it would be okay and that we wanted her there. We got her to stay an at the end of the event she had finally become a probie. Her condition got to the point in which she could barely type anymore, and thats when she resigned from ML. Present: She posted on her own wall about a week ago thatshe couldnt really type much anymore. I saw it and felt bad but left it be. Yesterday she posted that she was going to quit KaW within a week because of her condition. I made this post about her because she was a truely great friend and there will always be a place in my heart for her. Even though we didn't know each other for very long i felt like we had bonded. Thank you Kat for spending your time on KaW with us and i hope you enjoyed your time as much as we all did. Sincerely DubDub

I don't believe in God or go to church. I haven't prayed since I was a kid. I've lost loved ones and seen more tragedies than anyone could care for, yet I've never looked to the heavens for an answer or comfort. But for some reason, this story touched me in a way that nothing ever had. I cried for hours thinking about kat. Then I got down on my knees and prayed to God for her, her husband, and her son.
This actually brought a tear to my eye, i first heard of Kat when me and a clannie were talking, we talked for awhile and told me about her, truly Touched my heart, i made a vow, whenever possible, i will donate to asl research so we dont lose more loving caring people like Kat, Cheese, i havent prayed or gone to church since i was 7, but i aswell prayed for Kat
