T6 Hansel questions

  1. Hi all.
This goes out to experienced and war-hardened hansel-players. In fact i have 2 questions about T6 and warring:

    1.
Now that we have 75 Lands and lots of space for buildings wouldnt it be good to think about something like a "turtle-Hansel" for ee-wars?

I mean like having 1atk building but also about 1.5m static in adts and sdts. Rest spybuildings ofc. With the t6 lvl1 you could have stats like about:
    300.000 1.800.000 5.600.000 7.100.000

Ofc no defpots for giving less plunder.

When t6 lvl2 and 3 is out stats would be Even cooler ofc

    2. My second question is about towers as well:
When you are a Big Hansel and decide to build wether adts or sdts or both - where would you build them??? LLs HLs or FLs??? And why?

In lls you will have to build more towers for the same stats but you will also loose less stats because its only t4 you are razing. But the Core of my question is:
When you want 1.5mio static where will you loose the less plunder?

Would be really cool if i could get some serious and helpfull answers.

    Regards mb.

  2. My opinion:

Now with such big attack builds, 1.5 static troop defense will not help much, especially considering if you are a 75-land HFBC hansel, you will be targeted by the enemies' bigger players anyway.

And for building towers it goes both ways, LL is cheaper but kills plunder more (because it requires far more towers), while HF is most expensive but hurts plunder the least. HL used to be the best, but now they have given way to the T6 towers.

  3. I really just want to have 18 t6 atk buildings with the rest towers on new lands, then have guilds on ll and hl, everyone would think I'm an attack build, but I would have just under 25% attack buildings in my atk/spy building ratio. That way people would think I'm an attack build, but I would actually be a ghansel. I think I got my mechs right, but you understand what I mean.

  4. Hmmm I'm yet to think about these things :?

  5. You don't really understand war mechanics Magee. Hansels bank gold in war and those big attack builds can't hit them. It has to be a hybrid or hansel build hitting a hansel with no gold out.

This is why some hansels are dtw to atk at the very beginning of wars to attack builds. You can be an attack build with hybrid/hansel mechanics adjusting you build to have enough spy:atk buildings to get around it though.

The simple answer is yes. Good hansels in wars already have attack defense towers.

  6. Yeah you right, I probably don't war enough to understand the mechanics. I will try to participate in some more wars in the future.

My point is that when players (yes, including hybrids) are HFBC/ similar size to a HFBC hansel, 1.5m static is nothing. BFE covers 1.5m. The best offense BFE has about a 70m advantage over defensive equips, which is already about 1.2m, plus the pot advantage which with BFE advantage, totals at least 1.5m. So 1.5m would just be breaking even, at best. But if you add more and more towers, then your offensive stats start to hurt, so you won't be as effective attacking. It's a tough call on where you draw the line. In all honesty hansels best wars are the 10 min KO timer (season 1 KO system, except 10m instead of 15min), because hansels are best for keeping control. In KO advantage, it's easier to SKO so plunder is just as important as KO control. So build effectiveness also varies depending on the war time and KO rules.

  7. And big attack builds can't hit hansels? Exactly why I went hybrid. I definitely do understand war mechanics, and every clan definitely had players with hybrid stats that can easily crush a hansel with 1,5m ADT.

Also consider that most hansels are targeted first in wars; so they often unload troops, which means they're making plunder, when means they'll stay open to attack builds as long as they keep hitting successfully to replenish their gold out.

  8. 1,5 ADT looks like small, but don't forget it's protection against ppl coming out of KO (with low troops). btw I agree hansels don't use defense pots, so ADT only cover this no-defense state

  9. I really don't know about war mechs, but I thought the no gold rules were from pure spy, not hansels?

  10. Rio, the zero gold thing applies to several builds, just in different ways. Pure spy cannot be attacked by anyone when they have zero gold, but hansels cannot be attacked by attack builds only while having zero gold. Attack builds also cannot be stolen by hansels or pure spies when they have zero gold out.

Personally I think ADT are a complete waste of time, but I don't EE. Why not just buy allies instead of crippling your plunder with ADT? Just keep your plunder and farm another Hansel or weak hybrid to self pin I would think...

  11. Seems like a solid thread. Yes with more buildings available stats are larger and more towers are required to be effective. But what a lot of people don't take in to consideration is that although they may win the attack, they could be using max troops. And you would lose less.

  12. I would say adt are a not worth it until you look at the price of t5 adt Lvl 1

  13. On the turtle hansel part;

I have calculated a build where you can have 3.5m spy att, 5m spy def, 3m att and 6.4m def.

It costs alot and the plunder decrease per attack will be alot but it'll be worth it if you're warring.

  14. My upcoming build (t4/5/6 hansel) will have around 2.5-3m spy static def with it. This will be made up of several Hoarfrost spy towers, 6-8 will be the most likely number.

The rest of my lands will be 24 SOS, 25 volaries and a slightly variable amount of Unkari Ice Trees in new lands.

Does everyone think that 3m (max) static spy defense is too much? As it will be used most of the time (in EE wars) to protect me against people coming out of pin.

  15. Magee doesn't war  that's the funniest thing I've ever heard  and to answer OP, Id say build even more towers. With cs growing, you need to increase your static defense so you can still burn troops.

  16. Why in the world would you build adt but not have full def pots?

  17. Yes, the "hansel-killer" build us ideal

    Build your towers on HF

  18. @ golthar:

Adts help vs other players atk you. In wars ppl who atk you usually come Out of pin so their atk-stats normally are quite low. As a Hansel you have to expect that Big hitters are coming through anyways. Even when you use defpots. Since potburning does extra-plunder for the atacker for Hansels it DOES make ALOT of sence not to use defpots for this reason.
