So here is my first forum post. My clan has had quite a debate about this. I know it can depend on build but for this discussion, let's just give feedback for attack build and hansel/spy build. So, which piece of equipment...in your opinion...is best for each build. You can also post if your info is based on war testing (ie. hitting from pin) or from EB clicking. Thoughts?
Depends on what you prefer I'm fairly sure the sword relies on your troops strength(correct of wrong) and feather gives stats. So all preference.
When your HLBC abyssal blade is better. But while your still growing Diamondoferous is probably the better choice
I prefer diamond, because it's a static bonus, so I get the same boost on my last hit as I did on my first. This is helpful when doing EBs like haunting where you need pots for the last couple hits, with enough static attack from equipment and allies, you don't need pots.
If around HLBC sword gives better stats until you're around half of troops left; feather is for anytime else (max enchant of course. No enchant feather is bleh.)
As a hansel, I find the attack bonus from the feather useful for haunts- cos of all my equipment I use 3.5 mil less per hit in pots. For war I would like the sword for my spy stats
As a Hansel, the feather sword is probably your best bet. If you have an attack build, the sword is what you want to go with.
If you think about it. Abyssal blade gives 10% to your current strength not overall attack. So if your at half troops the abyssal blade is not making as much of a boost as when your at Full troops. So have both and have Diamondoferous being fully leveled with aqua and inferno you should switch swords at around 25-40% troops. Start with abyssal end with Diamondoferous for Hansel do same thing with spy troops. But for attack troops use Diamondoferous since your attack stats are low abyssal blade won't be as good. But all that is just if you have the time an patience to switch the swords back and forth .

For starters. It's not a feather but a diamond sword. Anyways. Back to the actual question. The abyssal blade utilizes your troop and spy stats and gives 10% from them. As your troops go lower your 10% drops the same way. The diamondferous gives a flat stat. Which is better is kinda tricky. Abyssal blade is better for me as an attack build til 50% troops or so then it's worse. Same goes for hansels. It helps your spies til about 50%. Then switch to the other and you'll get more stats.
Feather better, been confirmed from mods and Devs that EB items with percent bonus are based on troop level.
This is a friendly reminder to you all. I'm pretty sure its not a feather. It's a diamondiferous sword. It was made poorly though, if you take a look at it, there's pieces of diamond sticking out everywhere. It doesn't look very nice at all. It looks a lot like a chunk of diamond taken out of the ground and sort of carved and shaped into a remote likeness of a sword. There's my rant. May a fine day be upon you.
