Stupid Apple

  1. So I made a purchase on the App Store for $20 and $10 but it turns out I only had $19 left in my account. I now owe $11 and cannot update apps or downloaded apps until I update my payment method or add a gift card. Why did they let me buy it? If I never had enough money to purchase it in the first place why didn't they at least warn me? Do they crave money that much?

  7. I think you can set limitations through settings of your iDevice but I'm not exactly sure.

    Have you tried to contact Apple support yet? I don't use iTunes cards but I would like to know what they have to say on this.

  10. That sounds kinda harsh which I'm not used to hear by them as their costummer service is usually pretty good. I guess there's nothing you can do tho as they have all the rights to do this in most places.

  11. This has happened to me a few times but its all down to my bank. If I pay for stuff by card instead of cash then the money isn't actually taken out of my bank straight away so say I then go try buy xtals I technically can't afford my bank is still showing that I have money in my account so takes it resulting in me being charged for an unauthorized overdraft. Its a pain in the ass but you just need to be more careful and keep track of how much you have spent elsewhere so you know how much you actually have in your account

  12. That's ridiculous, they shouldn't process any orders that there aren't funds to cover. At the end of the day it is your responsibility to know what's in your account it's still kinda shady and underhanded.

  13. yup I agree... Apple done that 2 me a few times... I said hell with them and went with google.. atlest I didnt get screwed by them.

It happens to me, i purchased xtals then i never received it, but already deducted to my debit card , i think i got hacked but when i email the support of itunes about the unrecognized charges they replied after how many days.they ask me to send the history of purchased which i did not received and the number of purchase.the support will ask u the reference number too and the amount, ask them for your refund :) but of course u need to settle ur debit/credit card 1st and make sure u got the right amount,good news i got the refund :) just be patient .it will add to ur account.i hope it will help u
