I've been getting an awful lot of requests lately for what essentially amounts to begging for free money. I work for a living, just as I work in the game, and I value the rewards of my labor. I find it both pathetic and disrespectful for someone to try and circumvent applying a little elbow grease on their own by begging for the rewards of my hard work. That said, I help people all the time. I help for my own reasons, and never as a direct result of begging. I thought that if I shared with you the reasoning behind why I might help others, it may just help many of you to better understand how to get people to help you without pissing them off in the process. First: Don't beg. It's fine to ask for something, but end it there. If you don't get a response, tough luck. Do not follow up with nagging pleas to "please respond". This will only ensure you do not get what you're asking for. Second: Don't bully. Trying to pressure someone into giving you assistance by leaning on them, suggesting they "owe" you, reminding them of others they helped previously, or any other such attempts at guilt tripping or arm twisting will not help you cause. Third: Find a way to contribute. Helping someone is an investment. I feel better about that investment if I've seen some indication that the person I'm provinding assistance has done the same for others. This goes double in a clan. If you're going to ask to use VSFs (volunteer spy farms), make an attempt to provide some service in return for your farming - maybe even build a farm yourself (I bet the devs love this). The most important thing to consider when looking for others to contribute to your well being is equality. Don't set yourself up as a beggar. Instead, find a way to meet them half way, as an equal. Give a little to get a little. Give a lot to get a lot. It's the Golden Rule - and, yes, it's true: everything you need to know in life was tought to you in kindergarten.
Well since yesterday every hour or so ive in total volleyed a guy from 140mil to 1.7bil and I like the feeling of helping him

I totally agree nyn. There has been a lot of "buy me", "buy my allies cause you are rich" and (my personal favorite) "let me farm you" from strangers on my wall lately
Hire me! Please? Stats rising like the Nile in flood season! While your at it, buy my allies! They suck. So of course you will find great use for them.

Hi. A lot of info for nooner- me! I'm getting no where fast -not making any money. I've been scouting allies with bonus amt in 1000 to 2500 range. They sell the fastest. I thought I would make $$doing this. Don't u make $ everytime someone buys. I usually buy back n forth a bit thinking when I let ally go I've made money??? My cash isn't going up much so this money making strategy isn't working to well. I can't afford expensive allies so I buy with stats in the 1700 range n cheap n buy n sell n try 2 keep good ones n let others go. Take a look at my allies. Do u have any suggestions? Any advice on how to make some $ would b appreciated! Thanks
Soofie, just keep putting all your income into more allies until your ally plunder bonus ends in 000 when you're attacking whatever sort of targets you normally attack. Also, read my guide to ally ownership, in Strategy section. It's probably only 5 or so threads down from this one, on the first page, if you read this message anytime soon.
