One day, two birds had built a nest. But, this nest was a magical nest, built out of twigs from the heavens, and leaves from hell. These birds however, were the only living things in existence. As the birds ate, drank, and slept for 3 years, they had an egg. 2 weeks later the egg had hatched. Out came two little people. The devil, and the angel. The devil and angel grew up to hate each other. They had feuds and battles and with so much corruption, it killed the two birds. The angel and devil decided to have an agreement. The angel gets the top half of the universe, and the devil gets the bottom. They drew the line, and haven't crossed it since. Humans and other life forms began to appear. Some were born more on the heaven side of the line, others, the hell side. The hell-siders robbed banks on the heaven side, killed people on the heaven side, until so many people from the heaven side were gone, then the demon decided to go along with the little peoples plans, to rule the universe. But, the angel had created more men. Armored men. The armored men pushed back against the demons until everything was aligned again. The demons tried, and tried, hell broke loose, but the good always is victorious against bad. This process of attacking and defending is what we would call chaos sometimes. Until then, we will never know who wins, good, or bad... To be continued...
When I said 'good stories', I didn't mean to make a cliché story. It sounds too familiar. Write with your style. Your words. Your descriptions. Your dialogues. Find yourself in this. Everyone has a different style of writing. But, I've seen too much of something where one sees another and tries to mimic it.
