So, I'm a radical. I'm a radical thinker. I had a marvelous and brilliant idea. An OFFICIAL Feedback Thread. For all stories. The updating of stories is very staggered; so all feedback would immediately reach the author of the Fan Fiction story the feedback was referencing. It would create an easier reading environment and a more spacious Fan Fiction; sign up threads and story threads would be easier to find is what I'm trying to say. To ensure/insure the feedback reached the intended author, we'd simply do this: Story Intended Author to receive Feedback Feedback I'll try and update this thread frequently with suggestions and the supporters of this thread. Supporters: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. So on... Opposers: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. So on...
How many stories get updated a week? About two or three. Now, if a story gets updated on Monday, all the feedback will generally come in on Monday and Tuesday. If a story is updated on Wednesday, all the feedback will generally come in on that day and Thursday. If a story is updated on Friday, all the feedback generally comes in on that day and Saturday. Updates times are nonpermanent. They are indefinite. They aren't specific. That's why I said the updating of stories is staggered.
It would be a cool idea, but it might get confusing. So maybe like for any feedback post you include the story title as the first line. I support.
Eh... Ironically, it would be exactly the opposite of what it was trying to achieve. 1) the thread itself would be spam, because nobody would be able to find their own feedback because everything would be scattered, and the only actual feedback being posted by most is MOAR. 2) It would take longer to a) Reader - Post the title, author, book b) Author - Find feedback And how would someone reply to their feedback? There'd be a crapload of @[name] EVERYWHERE. Good try, but no. Mods, kill this thread.
cheese, let him have his day. That being said, this would only happen via moderator or dev enforcement, and IMO would be really chaotic as prieviously stated. Sorry, opposed.
Mods on fan fic!?!?!?! Jk, but ya. I mean if he just had some place where people could post poems and other misc stuff so it wouldn't be flooded, it would be ok. I feel like someone should make that. * *Sarcasm.
I want there to be a way to BAN everyone from one forum so the writers can write, also WE NEED AN UPDATE BUTTON FOR THE IPOD
And feather.. You pointed out the updating of stories isnt set, so its staggered. That could be true and all, but considering more sories are being made.. AND that since its not set lots of times 3 stories are updated at once then not for the rest of the week. Sorry, it just would'nt do.
Vile, if you were to type where people could comprehend, you'd probably have a much more enjoyable time in Fan Fiction. Revise your last sentence.
