Some Visual/Special effects

  1. Had this disturbing/awesome dream of playing KaW on a gigantic flatscreen, WII style, my clanmates' voices in my headset as TSG was moving his furry yeti hide around...

I KNOW this tap tap game will never reach a decent level of graphics, but can we get SOMETHING?

1)Real Avatars. Nothing fancy, some generic avatar standing by the banner, wearing the very mismatched pieces of equipment the player actually has on (now that would be fun). The avatar could pop on screen right before checking the profile, or if the player gets the last action of an EB, or made the highest plunder at war. Hell, devs could put our own avatar on screen when spamming us with nobility sales!

2)I haven't played on PC in a while, but I bet the horrible music/sounds are still there. Can we get some appropriate sound effects for each EB monster and for each action (att/ass/sct/stl)? As for newsfeed, it would be interesting to diversify too. For example, a knocking sound (or doorbell ring, whatever) for clan application, as opposed to some ridiculous war trumpet sound for inc., or a cheer for clan newsfeed, etc.

    3) Minimal animation of EB monsters, or if the server or whatever doesn't allow it a different picture of the monster at the beginning of each phase. Match them with some of the cheesy prompts that you put underneath the EB bars.

Thought I'd share the dream of a visually/audibly more appealing game with the rest of the KaWmunity. If you've ever had a dream about KaW I'd like to read about it - if it's in agreement with ToU and all the jazz, otherwise that's a topic for another thread.

    Happy tapping!

  2. It's a text based game bro, that's kind of the point.

    Think of it like Twitter.

  3. I'd say it's more comparable to Tumblr at this point

  4. Text-based, not text ONLY. As I said, if animation is not possible pics are fine. Same as what we already have, but MORE of it or revamped in the case of sound effects.
