some facts about unloading

  1. Hi I'm gonna show u guys some facts about unloading with a simple math.

Here, I'm using assassinations to illustrate. Because assa has less proportion of "static state" which gives rise to "static payout". I'll talk more about it later.

Let the payout of a complete unload to be 100%. The 100% of the gold u get is allocated in a triangular way.

First assa gives maximum payout while the last assa gives negligible payout.

since spies decrease proportionally throughout the unloading, the payout by right should decrease proportionally as well. at least taking a gradient of 45degree for the slope is a good approximation. it should not be the case whereby one loses 50% of the spies but his payout is still near maximum or near zero.

If one has static states( from pots, eq, BAF and castle), there will simply be a rectangle below that triangle. Here we assume that there is no static states.

After calculation of the area of the triangle:

    1. Unload one quarter of the spies: 44% of the payout.
    >> hardcore unload

    2. Unload 2 quarters: 75% of the payout
    >> optimal unload

    3. Unload 3quarters: 94% of the payout
    >> economy unload

    4. Unload all ur spies: 100% of the payout
    >> Busy-man unload.

    Conclusion:
1.the fact applies to attk and other type of spy actions as well. However, attk for example, there is a huge bonus from allies, which is a static payout.

    2. Try not to do full unload. It's wasted. Unloading to 3 quarters pays u 94% already. Last 6% is simply not worth another quarter of ur troops/spies.

    Thanks for reading. :D

  2. huh thats very interesting...

  3. Hmmm, i got lost when i saw da pretty picture :)

  4. Can you do my math homeowork for me? xD

  5. Intriguing....

  6. I do not believe this is the truth for Assassinates in the slightest, as the way I have been able to find the plunder is based on the amount of damage and amount of actions not how many spy's are left. Though that is applicable for the attacks.

  7. I've always wondered about this, if you can back it up with real tests then this is an excellent thread.

  8. Interesting you need more testing and some screen shots showing your results.

  9. You seem smart. Can you do a.
Z-score of the next 100 players to post in WC stat wise?

  10. U should get better handwriting

  11. It would take too long and wc goes by veryyy quickly

  12. Good thread

  13. I'd really like to see some hard facts supporting 50% unloads giving a 75% payout.

That would mean you could effectively gain an additional 50% in gold per hour using that method.

I know you get more unloading that way but 50% seems high.

  14. @frullet

Payout is based on ur strength, which is directly related to the amount of spies left. Not dmg.

And of course, the no of actions count.

This information is from wulf's thread.

  15.  good job kid

  16. But @white tooth, if you were to calculate the amount you make off a full load of spy's you could do 1 assassinate and then see bonus next time x the bonus by 36 as that's the amount of Assassinates you do and those numbers are the same. Therefore it doesn't change in this regard as the money you make from assassinates is not based on strength that only changes the success %.

  17. Spies are similar to troops as the amount lowers income does to. So your first assassination will in fact net more gold then your last.

It's the same with steals except you don't get an instant read out like you do steals and attacks.
