Smoke alarm won't shut up

  1. So my power went out for a few hours and my AT&T + fire alarms were going off. The power is on now and my AT&T alarm shut off. The fire alarms won't stop though. I've replaced ALL the batteries and they have been going off about every 10 seconds, just one beep. I've googled this, no answer. At last I'm asking KaW. Fixes?

*UPDATE* I've taken the batteries out of every damn alarm and THEY ARE STILL GOING OFF, so I put them back in.

*UPDATE* It's so annoying I might just need to set my house on fire and set them to good use.

  2. Bro what happened

  3. Disconnect the battery or power pack

  4. Lemme rewrite it

  5. Reset account it hacks into the central system of your alarm and shuts it off..

  6. Don't use the ampersand, or the post will cut off.

  7. -.-

  8. What is the ampersand?

  9. SOMEBODY FIX THIS I AM READY TO SMASH IT

  10. Never mind. Try just taking a hammer and smashing it.

  11. Use axe and hack into it

  12. Call an electrician is best. I've installed fire alarms n they would have a solution for u.

  13. Your fire alarm is wired and receiving power from a source, the battery is just a back up. The intermittent beep means the primary power is still unavailable and only running on battery. Somebody gotta reset / restore power to the circuit breaker.

  14. You noob disconnect the mains power and then the battery. Reconnect the mains then battery should fix it. If not burn the place down

  15. What they said^ when I moved into a house a few years back, one fire alarm kept beeping no matter what. And when I tried to pull it, it just screamed(figuratively). Pull the batteries, disconnect the main power wires. If you do them all, and really need a fire alarm, get a dog.

  16. This is the smartest thing I've ever read on KaW

  17. Blow the **** up bro, it's the only way 
