Six and/or Twelve hour Wars...

  1. Apologies if this has been discussed before, feel free to delete/move as applicable if needed.

Given that a lot of people who play KaW have jobs, families, school etc in that strange place called 'real life' wouldn't an option for shorter wars make more sense?

Even taking into account our real life responsibilities, I'm sure most people could commit to a six hour war pretty much any evening and at least one 12 hour war during the weekend. Yes they'd be short and fast, but they'd be pretty much flat out, full on intense little wars.

If the devs are really wanting to encourage system wars again maybe a shorter duration may be something worth taking into consideration?

  2. Or just letting the clans set a time limit would be better

  3. I agree with chicken. Good idea OP but chicken improved it. And it should be able to be made longer too

  4. Letting clans set a time limit is a good idea, nice one chicken!

True, it would work the other way too, make osw's officially week, two week or month long system wars, at least then we'd be able to see if the 'in war, do not buy my allies' banners were actually true!

  5.  you actually check the owner and his banner before you buy an allie?

  6. Lmao. Buying allies is like updating iTunes terms and conditions. No one actually bothers to read that.

  7. I thought they changed this a while, wars used to be only 48 hours, then it gave you the option to choose 48, 24, or 12 hour wars.

  8. There's an 8hr skirmish already. I think that's short enough for anyone
