War, a creature to destroy, but also the creature to create. It can create a dynasty or destroy an empire. It can kill a father or allow a reunited couple to make a family. War is the most powerful force in the universe. Won or lost by strategy, skill, and most of all human will. The will to win. The will to never give up hope. Arguably the most successful force I war ever to see earth. The Romans were known for their powerful legions and their code of honor. They chose death over dishonor and would follow a commander to glory without question. For hundreds of years the known world was ruled by a single man at a time , often no good at war himself, but leading the Romans making him godlike and able to destroy any. In the future this feat would be replicated by Napoleon and Washington. But never again in such a way that simply being the child to the last would give you these "powers" Now. Rome is long gone. But many people still honor them. On kaw you see clans with names including legion, spqr, vendi vedi vici, Rome. Or other sayings or phrases honoring them or their gods(sometimes in he Greek form) The most commonplace to find these occurrences on kaw is in merc clans. Weather eb or war mercenaries, they often honor Rome. Today, Two such groups go to war. Mercs legion, a well known merc group with 5 clans to its name against roman praetorian legion, and a few of its allies or members from subs. Overall outnumbering the enemy five to one ML seems to have the advantage. This is the story of why. During an osw between ML and IH. ML members consistently accused RPL allies of being the cause. In ending the war they also tried to recruit IH to help war with ML against RPL. They also made it clear they were planning the war. Then you look at RPL members. Almost daily one or more is hit by an ml member, this having been happening for near months now, denying any claim of a reason for it as all RPL or its allies have done to deserve the war was done after the first "act of war". ML will most likely claim this is over the RPL alliance with the ghosts. However RPL began getting hit before the ghosts by ML members and after words anything the ghosts did against ML is considered retaliation. During this war RPL merc wall is closed. It also appears that ML has closed their merc wall. RPL regrets it has to harm the people of kaw who would need the mercs, there is nothing that can be done about it To all who are gonna post tl:dr.
