Hey guys, here's an ally trading strategy that I've recently come up with. It makes you around 150m in about 5 minutes and can be done many times over, making you billions per day by just hiring at the right price! For the past few weeks, I've been hiring allies between 925m and 952m. Why? Because allies hired at this price get bumped between 970 million and 1 billion. Why is that good? Lots of players stock up on allies at even prices by hiring at even numbers such as 1 bil, 500 mil, 2 bil, etc. By owning allies just under this price, your ally is the first ally that shows up when they search for allies at that price. I sold around 50 bil per day when I was trading at this level. The catch? I only had around 10 bil on me. I spent all my money on allies and sold them five times per day. However, I have since found an even better strategy for money-making. Ally prices go up by 5% each time they're hired (Ratio is 1.05), so hiring an ally 5% lower than 952 mil will bring its price to 952 mil. If you get a friend to buy that ally, the price will be just under 1 bil. If you follow this pattern, you will have several prices where you can volley an ally up to barely below 1 bil. Volleying an ally and then selling? Even better right? I have assembled a list of ally prices that lead up to the magic 1 bil price. I started at 1,000,000, divided by 1.05, and rounded down always. If you want one person to keep, I put a smiley face beside all the prices where the first volleyer would keep in a two-person volley. 199,872,539 209,866,166 220,359,474 231,377,448 242,946,321 255,093,637 267,848,219 281,240,735 295,302,771 310,067,910 325,571,305 341,849,871 358,942,364 376,889,482 395,733,957 415,520,654 436,296,687 458,111,522 481,017,098 505,067,953 530,321,350 556,837,418 584,679,289 613,913,253 644,608,916 676,839,362 710,681,330 746,215,396 783,526,166 822,702,474 863,837,598 907,029,478 952,380,952 I will reserve spots for a possible 5 bil ally price list. If you want to make your own, just take the round number you want to target, then divide by the 1.05 price increment to find the best prices to hire at. I recommend that when you do hire an ally, make sure it is closer to the value above it than the value below it. If it is closer to the lower value, the ally will be below 976 mil, and will sell slower. P.S if you disagree with my 1.05 ally increment, you can test it yourself by hiring an ally at 10,000. The price will rise to 10,500. Divide each number by 10,000, and you'll see that it is true.
When I looked, there are no allies for hire between 952m and 925m - the ones just above 952mil go up to just above 1bil
Before the devs changed the ally drop rates, this was one of the best ways I made money. I could easily figure out a hire price within the 10 mil to 300 mil range that would put the ally at the top of the 5, 10, 20, and 50 bil search pages. Then volley it up and just sit back and wait for the big girls and boys of kaw to hire it away. I found that 0/0/0/0 stat allies worked the best. But sadly...this method for those price ranges has all but dried up.
An ally traders skill to prey on human nature of laziness for rounded numbers is not anything new at all.
When there are no allies between 925 mil and 952 mil, search on a lower price bracket that I've listed. Make sure the price of the ally is closer to the price you searched for than the price lower. This way your ally will end up wig above 975 mil. Volleying from a low price is most profitable
