[RESOLVED] Support Email Delays

    This issue has now been resolved. Thank you for your patience


    We've just received notice from our support solution provider that they are currently experiencing issues with delivering outgoing emails. This means that if you've recently sent in a support request to us via email that you may see a delayed response until the issue is resolved.

    We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

    Just a question. When is that bug going to be fixed, when each time you open kaw it restarts the app? It's a pain in the ass for switching between apps and kaw.

    Unless you've updated to 8.1.1 already at which point you're encouraged to hold off on updating KaW.

    @Bob you better be happy to help, it's your job. :lol:

    What is that supposed to mean? Are you talking about your email hosting provider, or is game support outsourced to another company?

    My kaw autoupdated despite turning the feature off... Can i look at my lands or is it just exploring them? o_O

    We (like most companies) make use of a Help Desk solution which organizes support emails as they come in and allows multiple support agents to work together. It's basically a shared email inbox, but supercharged to help us better support our players. All members of the support team are ATA employees and work out of our office here.

    This must be why the level of support has stunk in the last couple of months. Everything is getting aggregated into an Autotask style ticket system, no wonder ATA support can't look up forum threads from screen prints. Support would most likely be blind sided into only operating in the ticket system instead of being in the game, where they should be regularly, monitoring for glitches and bugs. Smh.

    So Your Support team consist of real live people???

    I always assumed they were bots that send the same response no matter what kind of feedback I send.

    You guys tricked me good.

    As the ICT guy of the workplace(along with every other job they may as well call me God ffs) I do feel sorry for the devs front facing customer service representatives having to put up with people's crap.

    Wahh get this to work, wahhh do this, do that.
    Do it your bloody self and see how it goes.

    You guys have a special email sorter, a group of employees that respond to 1 email, and your customer service is still almost as crappy as AT

    Please try to forgive players who email devs to fix their bugs. We definitely wouldn't want the support team to have to do their job would we?
