Reset Players and their Walls

  1. I was fooling around on old profiles looking for my old account from 2011 which was reset. It was then that I found that you can look at reset accounts walls even though their profile is "gone".

    This may be common knowledge but I've never heard about it before.

    Just to show you, I'll do an example.

    I looked up an old inactive non-reset player.



    I opened up his wall



    You can see the account skybounded (which was my account 4 years ago). When we click on the account this happens



    An error message comes up, indicating the account is reset. But if we click "reply" under skybounded' post it will open up his wall even though he is reset



    You can access the walls of reset players now. I thought that "reset" players had their account completely deleted, including their walls. But obviously we can see their walls, so does this mean reset players are still in ata servers just inaccessible by us?

    This isn't anything really game breaking or important just something that I wanted to show you guys if you didn't know about it (I didn't until recently).

  5. Lol also if you pick the invalid users name it changed the the name to what it was originally only adds a number on the end..

  7. Will it reset if another player comes around with the same name?

    Edit: upon a search, there is no one currently named "skybounded".

    My theory is that if a player comes along and names himself "skybounded", the wall of the deleted account will also disappear

  10. If a reset players name is taken, as stated above, their wall remains and the accounts name changes to their original name with numbers at the end. Find any old thread, preferably in best of, and look at some of the names there. I believe Ahdragos swan song thread for example has his old name like this, because he returned and took that name back.

  11. Wait so if someone make an account with the name skybounded the name on the wall will become like skybounded* (p1)

    Or something like that I don't remember how it goes

  18. Omg! That's why! My account has been reset but I can see it anyway!

    I have an old account and I looked it up and thought it hadn't been deleted it but it has and I just didn't realise.
