I was asking myself why ATA named it hiring an ally instead of hiring a slave. Being allied suggests that two parties decided to work together so both can benefit. The system in KaW is different. Only one party makes the decision to be allied. That party has a structural profit. The other party gets only one reward, namely a profit of one million max. If you take in account that you can be bought and sold it has more aspects of slavery than being allied to eachother. Was wondering how others think about this.
Haha that's a really good point, i never thought of that! Not sure folks would take too well to being called slaves though. Also, i know im always moaning about people bleating for free stuff all the time, but isnt it time we upped that 1m hire bonus a little bit? Come on devs, make it 1.5m lol!
So the "Free Ally Market" contingent shall become known as abolitionists. Four score and a few days our founding ape...
In medieval times, most 'allies' did not really both benefit, only the one with more power did because they were feared. The so-called ally would be expected to come to that person's aid, yet the other way around was not always the case.
