I would like to propose that we should have a 2 minute silence on remember Sunday. So we can remember all the service men and women who have help to give us the freedom that we have today. 11am 09 November we in the UK will remember them.
It's held at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day on the eleventh month. It's held then as a remembrance of the armistice which began to end the Great War (WW1). In the uk the nearest Sunday to that is called remembrance Sunday. The wearing of a poppy is a mark of respect for the fallen of that war and other following wars.
It's nothing to do with the Berlin Wall. That just happens to have happened on the same date as Remembrance Sunday this year.
Remembrance Sunday is held to the closest Sunday to the 11th of the 11th of November in which the UK and many parts off the world remember the fallen men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.
This will be me on remembrance day 11/11 @ 11 am. Just with a firearm in my hand ^Hope that worked...
