Dear Authors and Readers of KAW Fan-Fiction, It is completely obvious that a large percentage of the KAW population detests d_bo assasin. His comments are frivolous and detremental to many of tge authors on this application, and I believe he acts in this such manner because he is in reality pathetic and ultimately worthless to himself and those around him. His asanine, prepubescent behavior is a result of his want for any type of attention, whether optimistic or pessamistic. He feeds on the mention of his name, and loves to make senseless, fallacious remarks on the praisable works of many authors. His vicious attitude toward everyone is indeed inappropriate and deplorable. I believe he is misguided in his erroneous assumptions, and his opinion is completely superflous and despicable. It is my opinion that all mention of d_bo's name should be ceased. Ignore him and his idiotic comments and inputs.Stop all awknowledgement of him. I believe he'll eventually realize how much he is hated, and hopefully leave. All of the wonderful stories on KAW really don't deserve his violent attitude. They deserve praise and compliments. I belive that we all feel as though he should be forum banned. Until that glorious day comes, ignore him. He is nothing but a waste of your precious time, and, putting all seriousness aside, a mere piss ant. Thank you all, Renee.

Making another thread about him is the perfect way to "stop giving him attention" Plus, he liked my story :lol: You know what, I am a harsh *****. I have a deep inner desire to grab my read pin and start editing and leaving comments on most of the posts in here. However, I recognize that it's not really my place to tear apart each story- but rather to support the growth of budding writers. DBo is being overly honest, sometimes. Sometimes, he's just being a prick. But, if you guys can't take criticism, you should put your pen down now because that is 99% of the feedback you will receive once you attempt to start publication. Dear Writer: your story fails. Seriously. That's the crap you get when you start sending stories into reputable literary magazines. 1 in 100 might possibly get printed. And if you plan to take courses in college, you will be pulling your hair out when you get that one professor who is just harsh as heck. My point here is: writers take a lot of criticism. Get used to it. Brush it off. Not everything in writer-land is hunky dory. (btw- I counted 5 grammatical errors in my most recent post)
@Belle I know what you mean but I don't believe that he needs to call us emo's (not that there is anything wrong with them, I just don't like stereotyping names), tell us to stop writing just because we aren't that great and from my point of view, insult us.
Bella Morte, I completely agree that in certian circumstances, a writer will recieve criticism, but d_bo takes it over and above constructive criticism. He recently posted on a Fan-Fic I read on a regular basis, that "women are only good for making sandwiches', and it offended many people whom partake in regular reading of this Fan-Fic. I could understand a comic relief at times, or helpful critiqing, but his redundant, unending posts unnerve me, and many other forumers. I respect that you are a good writer, but if you weren't a Moderator, then I'm sure d_bo wouldn't hesitate to insult you. I also understand that writing isn't always peachy, but I believe that the foundation to good writing is good criticism. D_bo, refuses to participate. I encourage the use of the Praise and Polish Method of critiquing. Praise the good, Polish the bad. Every individual from Fan-fic, Off-topic or anywhere should be encouraged, not torn down. Okay. dBo is being facetious, not fallacious. He's stating an opinion, and opinions can't be false or true; just opinions. I think you guys are just taking him too seriously. DBo and I had a few feuds back in the day. He'd tell me to go make him sammich. I'd tell him where to shove his sammich. He'd say "now eat it". I'd say "I tried but your herpes deterred me". Then it would continue. Just as you all are free to post literature (the good, the bad, and the ugly)- he is free to make smart aleck comments. Not everyone in life is going to give constructive criticism. You have to take the good with the bad and ignore the meaningless comments. DBo isn't going to be forum banned because he follows the rules. "hurting feelings" is not bounds for a ban. And your feelings shouldn't be hurt. Here's an example: I put my heart into this short story one time. It was a very experimental style of writing for me. It was 3rd person objective and written as a sort of parable. However, the actual content of the story was really sad and bitter. I was overly objective on purpose- but no one seemed to get what I was trying to do. They wanted to know what the main character was "feeling" and I refused to change a word of it. My feelings were slightly feathered by some of the comments made and I wanted to argue till I was red in the face that my story is a PARABLE! Like aesop's fables. But, I realized, after looking back a month later, that the story had no voice at all, let alone the voice which I now call my own. It was a shock to go from reading stories by a person who normally writes from a very emotional 1st person perspective to a 3rd person objective. That story was not publishable. Now, what I'm trying to get across: sometimes people misunderstand you. Sometimes people are cruel. Your stories are like your babies and they mean a lot to you. Just don't get all flummoxed because one person posts a few random comments.
Bella Morte, Fallacious is defined as false, and worthless. D_Bo is exactly that. His feedback is not helpful nor of any value. He may behave in a facetious manner, but I chose fallacious because it suited d_bo's degrading pesonality better. I do not expect him to conform to a beneficial manner of behavior. I'm just pointing out that his tomfoolery and imbecility are none the less aggravating and pointless. In translation; No one likes him. He has as much a right to be here as anyone, but that doesn't mean we have to like him or we must stop ourselves from farming him. He is inded, as many would agree, a waste of forum space. If KAW forumers could decide if he stayed, then I'm extremely confident that he would be forced to leave the premisis. If you didn't notice previously, then look at all the Fan-Fic and Off-Topic posts. You'll find forums that ate entitled "If you could kill d_bo.." and "A poem for d_bo," etc; All of the above of course are a variety of hate posts on him. I've never seen one individual so hated to such an extremity, that it posseses people to say things such as "I'd cut off all his fingers and toes and put cigarettes up to them, and burn them." It's inevitable. No one likes a piece of disrespectful, fatuous, obtuse rubbish. And that my friends, is exactly what d_bo is.
There is a point in which the use of large words sounds silly and as if you are trying far to hard, particularly if the words are forced into what you are trying to say rather than smoothly "said". Fallacious = big words for false. DBo is far more real than most on here. I'm getting close to yelling "THESAURUS" on you- because your words do not run smoothly and it is driving me insane. Stop trying to sound smart and just BE smart. If a fancy word fits in, use it. Don't force it.
