Rare drop on ASOF

  1. Am I missing something?

I just got back into kaw to find some nice new ebs... ASOF being one of them.

Can anyone explain why the devs implemented a "rare" drop on this eb of 1 billion gold? 1b gold has been chump change since I started 4 years ago.

I'm sure this question has been posed before, I am just late to the party.

  2. It's a good question really considering ASOF is a difficult eb for most unless you're a decent size, making a 1b bonus almost negligible.

  3. Exactly.

I thought my newsfeed had a typo, and that it would be 1t.

Checked forums, and even the eb guide states 1b. Makes no sense. FoD used to drop large gold rewards before bronze bars were out which equated to way more than 1b extra.

    I don't get it...

  4. Devs give us better gold on our 1% chance!  but still even with a tiny % chance. Give us like 1 quad instead of 1b

  5. Considering that most builds able to hit asof frequently are making 300-400m a hit it's basically 3 extra hits.

  6. 300-400m?lmao those hitting asof make a lot more.Im only 100mcs making 1.5 times that. The BCs make around 1.2B per hit, if im not mistaken

  7. Yeah I'm hitting for 700+ mil but got plunder spells so don't count

  8. Yes. The rare drop is a total joke.

    What is the purpose?

  9. Can we just have a 0.000001% chance of 30k silver bars as an ultra rare drop?

  10. I think the drop needs a buff or to be removed. Currently it's just something to laugh at when someone gets the drop. Honestly even buffing it to 100b would make a huge difference especially to smaller players.

  11. 67.5T is alot. Maybe devs would add it with a drop rate of 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

  12. Honestly even 100b would be a nice number to open up my newsfeed and see

  13.
  14. He literally said it should be 1/100 million and u said it should be a smaller chance ... 1/100 million is extremely rare so 30k silver bars is reasonable.

  15. Yes, based in the total gold it takes for BC, having a rare drop of 1b or even 100b is a drop in the ocean.

It is probably an oversight on the part of ata as it makes no logical sense.

500b to 1t (random amount) seems more fitting.
