So, for my very first forum post, thought I'd rant about all the morons who keep complaining when their ally gets bought. I've played for a long, long (way too) long, time and have a perspective I'd like to share. 1) ALLY BUYING IS PART OF THE GAME. Get over it. No one cares if you like your ally or like your owner. If you're not trading allies, you're not maximizing your earning potential. 2) UNDER PRICED ALLIES ARE FAIR GAME. Nuff said. 3) TO KEEP YOUR ALLIES: -----Volley them up so they are overpriced. This won't stop it, but it will make it less likely they will get bought. -----Buy them back. Doh. 4) IF YOU ARE IN A WAR: -----DON'T BUY LOW PRICE ALLIES. Seriously. How stupid can you be? Buy gold bars or attack pots or something. An under and low price ally is easy pickings. -----DON'T EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE CHECKING IF EVERY ALLY'S OWNER IS IN A WAR. Again, don't buy low price allies. For us active ally buyers, that's way too much trouble. We check for price and activity. I don't care who owns 'em. As a final caveat - IMO this really only applies to allies below around 100M. If you start buying above that, you're messin with the big boys and girls. Most of them will farm your arse for buying their big allies if you're not careful. Happy Kawing [rant off]
hmmm gna try get them all off him he can make his 2,500 gold per hire, ahh I see what he's doing now... if I hire all 40,000 of them he will make a bil... veeeeery crafty
Indeed. Maybe I should edit the above and say "don't hire any ZAFT allies, for that will also get you farmed."
hmmm so ur agreeing that there are certain situations in fact then that one should not just 'freewillie' buy allies as ur op says...? hmmm interesting pls teach me more
