"Quick" question

  1. Okay, so I have a quick question that we were talking about in clan chat earlier, but let me qualify this real quick.

So I recently returned from a vacation of about a year and a half or so. I left right before epic battles were brought out so I never really learned too much about them.

Anyways.... So I was recently screwing around without a friend and farming him and I noticed that with mithril and pots the plunder increased per hit, but on epic battles this is not the case, or if in is it happens in much less significant numbers.

For instance, my plunder bonus on haunting is about 20 mil, but hitting my friend (4 mil combined stats) my bonus is 24 mil. Now I put this down to plunder vs size.

But!!! The real change, was the difference in plunder. With no pots or mithril I received about 100k first hit in plunder. Then with both mithril spells this went up to 8 mil first hit. But then with mithril and pots this went up to nearly 17 mil per hit.

Then, later in the week I attempted this with haunting and did not notice any difference in plunder at all.

If anyone that knows the mechanics of epic battles and could explain this I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Tyty1

To all who say tl;dr I would appreciate if you would go to another thread with your comments. Thanks :)

  2. Possibly added to end plunder? Might have to start experimenting lol

  3. Anybody?

  4. Bump to active topics

  5. No one knows or no one cares?

  6. ask UPC they can tell you he/she is great with numbers.

  7. I kind of skimmed through it, but your point flew by me.
You're trying to say that with mith and pots, you gain more plunder per hit?

  8. Going to ignore this noob cause there is no plunder increases from pots or mith spells.

  9. Doc, if you have nothing to say, get out.

  10. Who had the mith and pots? You or him?

  11. Ask unicornpoopcookie

  12. Lol looks likes he's answering

  13. I was wondering that too, Unicorn. If the defender is using defensive pots, then you get extra.

  14. Yes. If the defender puts up pots then you make 50% of the def pots he puts up. So if he buys a 12 mil def pot, your hit will increase by 6 mil.

  15. Hmmm good point a actually wasn't watching his pots. Thanks guys. Question answered. /lock

  16. Plunder is worked out with loads of factors.

    Key ones are:
    - Your buildings (your stats)
    - Their buildings (their stats)
    - Your BFA/BFE
    - Their BFA/BFE
    - Your Pots
    - Their Pots

The larger the difference between you both the MORE you will make.
I.e. hitting a LB player will be the most you will ever make in the game.
Mith, BFA, BFE and Pots ALL change the plunder made.

If your a hansel in an EE war usually you will be asked to have NONE of the top 4 def pots. This is because EVERYONE can win on you and those 4 pots will increase the oppositions plunder per hit on you.

    Hope this helps. Question answered.
