People seem to be confused about recent changes in the mechanics of how stealing works. There are situations in which you can be stolen from if: 1) You have gold out and your attack troops are 20% or higher. or 2) You have no gold out and ANY spy troops and your attack troops are 20% or higher (even though your gold is at 0 if you have spies they can be killed and looted.) Even 1 spy troop is enough to allow for a successful steal.) Therefore there are only 2 ways to be DTW from steals: 1) Have your troops below 20% or 2) Have 0 gold AND 0% spies. Now for the PureSpy (OSF) builds: Pure Spies (OSF) have no troops to pin so they can only go DTW from steals if they have 0 gold AND 0 spies. So unless the pure spy build has 0 gold and pin spies every 5 minutes it will ALWAYS be open for steals. Another Limitation to PureSpies (and I am not sure if this is a system glitch or intentional) If you are a pure spy you will not be able to steal from targets with 0 gold out regardless of the targets troop level. I guess there is honor amongst thieves because while ANY other build can steal from 0 gold targets by killing and looting the spies the PureSpy build cannot.
No aqua-d, need to be higher than a certain attk to spy ratio to steal from attk builds with 0 gold out.
I found this to be false. If I assassinate to pin I can still steal. Assassinate takes to under 20% then dtw to spy assassinate or attack but I can still steal. However, if they self pin I can't keep stealing. Perhaps the % are not correct somewhere? We noticed this first when one of our inactives got stripped about 6 months ago. It didn't used to be that way, and we were able to pin by assassination before that point.
