ok so i understand a hansel build is 24 lvl 4 guilds+1 troop building but here are my questions: 1. what is the advantage of this as opposed to a pure spy build? (25lvl 4 guilds) 2. what is the advantage as opposed to a pure troop build? (25 troop buildings) thanks in advance!
Guilds have the highest plunder bonus cap addition in the game. With 23 guilds and an attack building with a high plunder cap (such as a subterranean factory), you can achieve over 15 mil a hit. The advantage you have over an attack build is that your build is not troop dependent. It relies on allies. On the other hand, attack builds lose a massive amount of potential every time they attack. This means people with the hansel build (although originated with emeth) can fully unload without worrying about their power decreasing.
Ok I'll list the pros and cons Pros • This build makes huge ally bonus because the guilds have a higher cap then the attack buildings. They are also "weaker" then attack buildings meaning you will make much more money on weaker people then a "strong" troop build. •consistant money- since the majority of your cash is plunder bonus you won't make much less if you have 1 troop and attack someone, compared to having 2000 troops attacking someone (full troop dumps won't lower profit much) •Able to steal as well as attack. Although your main source of cash will be from attacks you can make 5m (first steal) easily on an average strength opponent with no pots. •Very useful in wars from playing from "too weak" since the majority of your wins are from ally plunder. Cons •low defense makes you an easy target unless you have atleast 20m ally bonus (about 400b) • Dependant on an osf. Unless you have huge ally bonuses or use tons of potions, you won't consistantly win against people on the battle list. Those are pretty much the main pros/cons. To summarize and add anything I may have missed here's a recap. You can lc very quickly with this build but only become one if you have an osf. Also, Dont be a hansel build when you're build complete (all strongest possible buildings) unless you have huge ally bonuses. Overall it's a fun build, however the huge cost to get it to work at the end part of the game will prevent most people from using it
