Could anyone share some insight on the pros/cons of having spy guilds if u r primarily an attack build? Does it make sense to have one or two high level spy guilds or is it better to have none and concentate on just increasing att/def? Thanks for your thoughts!
Well if u look at all the beast players they have 3 or more lv 3 guilds with the rest attk buildings for example look at MRREX
The biggest benefit of guilds with an attack build is that you will make more money, potentially, with guilds than you will with forges or other T2 attack buildings. Guilds provide a higher ally plunder bonus potential than forges or other T2 buildings. I'm talking about fully upgraded to L3 btw. There is only one building type that provides better income than an L3 guild, and that's a L3 T3 (like a subterranean factory). Even a L2 factory doesn't provide as much ally plunder potential as L3 guild does. That's the main benefit. Also, if you use a build like the one-forge build, with one forge and the rest guilds, or one factory and the rest guilds, not only can you make very high plunder, but you can also steal for over $4m a steal (with full spies). It's a great secondary source of income. And finally, another reason to use guilds with an attack build is that if you went with 24 T3 buildings, you would have giant stats, so much so that there is pretty much nobody in the game for you to attack and make excellent plunder, cause everybody is weaker than you. The ideal build is really about 15 T3 buildings, give or take, and the rest guilds. And for a war-sturdy build, maybe 17 T3's and the rest spy def towers. Cheers! Ps - I look like a first-day noob right now, stats wise, but that's because I just reset. The most T3's I ever had at once was 21, and it was just too many.
UncleChu: thank you for a really excellent post. There's lots of info and insight into how kaw works. Thanks.
