PVE: The Ideal Build

Discussion in 'Strategy' started by CoS-Earth, Jun 13, 2011.

  1. With the new update, a strategic sense returns to the game of KaW. There's missions to be done, and Trolls to be killed.  The biggest question I see right now is what the new idealistic build/possible builds should be. Is it better to have a pure attk/spy build, or balanced between the two? Is hansel less useful?

So the real question for this thread is; what's your opinion on the ideal build now that PVE has come out?

  2. My build so far works good for me, although I'd like a few extra spies. 

  3. What ever build you currently have is great. There is pve quest for each build type.

  4. A1 that may be true, but people flock towards the quests that favor their style of play, and the other quests tend to be done less

  5. With Snooki rampaging KaW territory, we must deal with her.

I figure hansel does the best work in all aspects, still 

  6. Hl, 25 SoS lv3, low lands, 24 CoE

  7. Hansels only work well on cretin quest. Attackers on others.

  8. Snokee*

  9. I get top 10 almost every time... And I don't even have 1m combined stats all depends on activity and smartness ;)

  10. Slight deviation here but I've now heard this a few times and would like an explanation. CoS-earth, how has PvE bought 'strategy' back to the game? As far as I can see, PvE requires little to no strategy, other than memorising what pots to use and a bit of coordination for the last boss.

Back on topic, mixed builds seem to work well, but I've seen pure OSF and OAF do well also.

  11. It requires clans to work together more and for people to be more active, and on top of that, you have to be ready for most of the later battles, with a great deal of precision on your clan's part in fighting through the phases.

  12. I actually like what the devs did here. The best earning build would be a hybrid (someone recomended Half SOS half Coe). But that makes a terrible warring build. So players are left with a tough choice, maximizing earning power or maximizing combat effectiveness. As greater earning power leads to greater strength, that would seem the solid choice, however, a good combat build is often a sufficient deterrant to attack
so a tough choice awaits you

  13. Yep, they deal way more damage to the monster then someone 2x their size XD

  14. Half SOS and Coe is far from a bad warring build.

  15. We're not going to know until the updates finish. They will be fighting back soon.

  16. Just saying this game won't b called kingdoms at war no more

  17. I would say 1/3 Foundries and 2/3 SoS since you can get in more hits for more damage with spies
