Quite simply, for new players, there should be an option to auction themselves. What I propose is that players who are new and a week into the game and is still active based on number of actions they made can put themselves up for auction. They can write a short description of who they are on the auction place. Everytime someone places a bid, the player can see how much they will earn. This is an effective way for new player to earn money instead of simply waiting for volleys, which a week into the game doesn't really happen. After the auction ends the player receives the sum of money that would have been paid in a normal volley, but the owner pays in full price the ally value. It's a big payday, instead of slowly building, and perhaps at the same time getting hits. Just a thought.
Neat idea, too many issues- Downside? That new player is stuck small for a week- the "only" week they have their 100% bonus plunder lol. Volley would still provide quicker, more effective growth. The folks "bidding" aren't making the usual % per hire away, <-- the bonus that encourages volleying to begin with. Sorry, it's a cool concept, needs some tweaking
