Pure ATK/DEF troops

  1. Hey forums :)
    I'm asking myself, since none does it, if pure ATK/def is working? In a war? In EB? What's the pros, what's the cons? Help me :D since I'm almost pure spy the question comes to my mind :)

  2. Pure attack means you do more damage, but the buildings that give these type of stats, have the worst plunder of their tier (tier 1->6).

    As for full defense heavy buildings, you don't do as much damage and may even need pots/more buildings that usual to ensure you are successful when attacking, but these buildings do give the best plunder of their tier.

    Personally, I would go for the balanced buildings in tiers 4/5/6. As they give enough stats to hit eb's such as the haunting. And a balanced building gives the most combined cs and average plunder.

  4. But what's the cons? The pure ATK/DEF build is really good at EB's. What about wars?

  7. Yes, you are extremely vulnerable to spy actions. That's why most troop builds that war have towers
