any hansel that doesn't convert to an osf during an osw is a nub. discuss. edit: this discussion goes down hill pretty quickly because of the argument between metal and myself that was tainted by the fact that we are currently on opposite sides of an osw. please try to keep the conversation to game discussion.
@ice cold killa - slightly off topic, but yes. alright. guess i will flesh this out a bit. it annoys me that i see so many people use what is truly a brilliant build, in a less the brilliant way. i blame pwars. during the pwar era, the hansel build became wide spread for its plunder. People forgot what made the hansel build so great for war. 1) you should only have 1 ally. it should have a hire value no higher than needed for max allies bonus. 2) all other gold should be banked. 3) when war breaks out, drop the ally, become an osf, and use the massive amount of gold that you saved from NOT buying allies to bank strips for your clan. if you aren't doing this, you aren't doing it right. unless you are an eb warrior. in which case; carry on.
right. because using winning tactics that involve self sacrifice for the benefit of your clan is kitty stuff.
How big do you think my bank is lmao. Only people who are scared play pure spy's in Osw. What your suggesting, is play as someone with nothing to lose - you don't even have to log in what's the fun in Osw without any risk? Answer me that.
You do know you can have a pot bank as a hansel right? In fact, some if the biggest pot banks I know are guild hansels.
staying hansel in an osw is detrimental to your side. you become an easy farm for the opponent, who will then use that gold to stay potted. if you are not going to play a hansel as i described, you should not play a hansel in war. your greed is harming your team. until the devs fix that ridiculous loophole (the kingdom with no army is immune from attack?!?) playing a hansel any other way is for nubs.
Naw, that's where the three t5 atts come in, I can quite easily burn troop pots with them. Even pin some smaller attack builds.
oh. the old vet is talking down to the little pwar noob. i was brought into this game during the pwar era. i did eventually strike out on my own to fight and farm. i don't regret doing pwars, i don't regret doing ebs. i like to spend time with all the different aspects of kaw. and if the best argument you have is that i don't have enough loses to be talking about this, feel free to give me a couple. it is only fair considering that i gave you a few the other day.
doesn't really matter. everyone has to sleep. that means free gold for folks like me. i can easily burn 13 of iregs pots without using any of my own, while making a pretty profit.
Nope your the nub. A build with less than 25% troop buildings falls under hansel mechanics. FYI, just saying dont call people an eb warrior when you have the win/loss ratio that reflects the same. NUB.
false. a hansel is ONE troop building. anything else is not a true hansel build, if not quite a hybrid. it isn't a hansel because it doesn't lend itself to the conversion that i believe i mentioned earlier. if you get rid of that aspect, then you are effecting the hansel mechanics. nub.
