TABLE OF CONTENTS 1. Basic explanations 2. Information for beginners 3. Pricing 4. Summary 1. BASIC EXPLANATIONS I've seen a good number of threads concerning the "classic days of kaw" in which there were wars instead of Pwars, and now EBs. People always say they wish they were playing in those days, or they wish those days would return. Well, the solution is simple. Wars still exist. Get your clan and your act together, and fight someone. But as we all know, the best part of warring? Well, it's winning. There are many keys to having a solid war strength, but there is three main components. You need to be active. You need to have allies. And lastly, you need potions, commonly referred to as pots. Activity is a simple concept. Stay on the game, monitor what is happening in the war. An easy way to do this is check every 10-20 mins. Even over night, a strong war clan will have a majority of members up extremely late, and waking up ever hour to unload. As you war, you will learn what works best for you and your clan. Allies? Also extremely simple. The more the merrier. Have at least enough o have max plunder, and if your going into a strip war, have A LOT more than needed, and be ready to get rid of any money that can be opened when an ally is stripped. Lastly, we are brought to the main part of this guide, potions. The key to having pots is having enough. I suggest for a small player (under 1.5 mill comb stats) have 500-750 of EVERY POT. Larger players need more pots, as they are bigger targets. I would recommend anywhere between 1000-2000 pots. Just something to remember about pots: YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY. The more you have, the less you need to buy next time. 2. INFORMATION FOR BEGINNERS For people not familiar with pots, they are quite simple to get the hang of. They are divided into four types, attack (Atk) potions, defensive (Def) potions, spy attack potions, and spy defense potions. When you have offensive potions (Atk/SpAtk), you will be given the option to choose which pots you would like to use against the "victim" of your attack or spy. The total addition to your stats will be shown as you select which ones you pick. With defensive potions (Def/SpDef), the game automatically uses pots, and will pick which pots it deems necessary, the stronger the attacker, the more potions it will use. Ever pot provides a bonus to a specific stat, example: Elixir of Rage provides a 15,000 bonus to your attack. This 15,000 is put towards your base stats! Not your bonus towards owner. 3. ALL POTS: 7,046,875,000 35,234,375,000 70,468,750,000 4. SUMMARY As you can see, pots aren't cheap, os so it seems. When you see that 70bill for 1000 of every pot, I'm sure the thought comes to mind that that is equivalent to 2 lvl3 T4s, and some left over. But the stat difference it gives you is much more than 2 lvl3 T4s does. 50,000,000 base stats is equivalent to 1,000,000 on the bonus to allies number (which is what most people use to see how strong someone is). So in the end, having every single pot brings your combined stats (all 4 categories) up by just a little over 5 mill. This concludes my guide to Potions. Hope this helps you out. Ps. Happy St Patties Day! ZOZO
@Heartfall. Less multicolor, I will keep it in mind for next time. Also, this thread is more based on the war aspect of potions, and how they affect you vs other players. Not towards EBs. But i could make another guide for that. Thanks
Can't edit, cause noob noob op is only on iPod, no computer. I'm just taking advice for my next guides thanks though!!!
This is a great guide. Although for most players the uses of pots and their stats added etc is taught to them, or they figure it out with time.
Ahh, Still an awesome guide. It's nice to see that people know how to structure them so they look good This must have been hell to write on your iPod
Hmm.... I guess. I taught most of my students all about pots before they even got 16 lands, so thats where im coming from. Nothing personal
Shut up HeartFall!!! Very good guide, don't mind comment about BBCodes, codes are needed to spice up a thread, nice work. Very good guide for Newbs, not noobs.
Thanks everyone for advice and heartfall, I appreciate criticism, but if you would mind telling me which ones are messed up, it would be much more useful to me, and anyone trying to learn. Otherwise, I have no need for your opinions. So feel free to leave.
Yes I noticed that. I was trying to use darker colors like navy and dark violet, but blue came out lighter than I expected. Also gold is quite bright :/
