I've been enjoying chatting in wc a lot recently, but I don't have money to dish out on speakers daily, and I know a lot of others don't either. Before you get all angry with the idea of ads and permanent speakers, shut up. I've realized this. What I'm thinking is that for $50 USD (give or take) you get a permanent speaker for 2-4 weeks. This will allow those who want to chat to do so, without having to constantly buy nobs and stuff. To protect the abuse of this, if you get silenced while you have a permanent speaker item, the item is removed from your inventory, disallowing you to talk using a perm speaker. I don't know, it's interesting in theory, and I can see it bringing a lot of revenue to ATA. And let's be honest, who would waste $50 to spam ads and get silenced?
Re: Permanent Soeaker Item? I'd say $50 is a lot for 2-4 weeks but maybe $20 for 3-4 weeks, that seems okay for those who want to chat in my opinion.

Honestly I like the old idea about a KaW premium account mentioned tweaked to fit the more social side. $50 a month for unlimited speakers for the month, 6 free health crystals, and banner saying VIP in replace of PRO. Along with something along the lines of a VIP only chat room.
YES. I have spent money on speakers. Ask some of the mods . I simply can't handle only speaking 5 times...
@ATOM I would never pay 50$ monthly for a VIP account. There are too many mmorpg with greater mechanics and graphics that are 7-20$ a month. Skyrim came out online for PC. You had to buy the game for 60$ then pay monthly 15$, people were freaking out. If skyrim can't do it, kaw surely can't. No offense Devs if you ever read this .
I support this!! However, I would also like to have some changes coming along! The best advantage of this idea is that if a player, wih an intent to help answer other player's questions in World Chat and be here for them positively, wouldn't it be ten times awesome? $50 is too expensive for 2-3 weeks. How about lowering the price down to just $5 for 1 week, or $1 for 24 hour unlimited speakers? This would be equivalent to 50 Nobility Points for 1 week unlimited speaker option, or 10 Nobility Points for 24-hour unlimited speakers! Would that be a reasonable price, Seth? I personally think that amount would be just great!
As mentioned in OP's idea, the permanent speaker item will then be removed from your inventory and you can only speak to a maximum of 25 speakers after your silence time is up!
That will learn ya then, wont it. Lol obviously tou would still apply, therefore if you paid for speakers and got silenced, its all on you. The whole wc would laugh.
How about permanent speakers that last for a year for 100? Of course I don't know how much the devs currently make off the selling of nobs for speakers, but 100 dollars seems like a lot to me just to be able to chat freely.
I would love to see a mechanic that allows helpful members of the community to have a higher regen amount per day/regen limit. This would allow people like VKs to be more present in the community without needing to fork out for more.
If I see someone posting a question on world chat I would just post a message on their wall, which is more quiet and more personal. So that wouldn't be a reason for me to buy speakers. However if you're out there to chat for fun and meet people to expand your allies for example I understand it frustrates if the speakers run out. I support the idea but I probably wouldn't use it much myself. ^_^
I would imagine it would work like this. If you are unfairly silenced your speaker would be reinstated back to how much time it had left at the time of the unfair silence.
i disagree. Then we'd be bombarded with loads of try hards. how about unlimited speakers for VK (if they don't already get them). also your idea is quite and unfair advantage on the rest of kaw.. double everything
