Out For Blood or For Love?

Well I started this last year and haven't finished it... I have a lot of it don't so far and had gotten some opinions on it... I've been told it was good by ppl on PIMD where I started it... I will post it little by little I guess and I hope you can tell me what you think... I'll post the start in a few... Hope you like it :3

 

Kitty was a sixteen year old girl living in the city. She lost her parents two years ago to a vampire killing them. She left the small town she grew up in trying to forget about it but she never can forget them. She was waiting in the middle of the city for her friend Kara. She began thinking of her mother and how she looks like her mom when she was sixteen. She missed her mom a lot and wished she wasn't killed. As she was deep in thought, a guy brushed past her and walked into the alleyway about a block away. She followed him with curiosity and when she was about to walk into the alley she noticed his bright blue eyes and amazingly shiny black hair. She wanted to walk up to him and ask him what his name was. She was about to when she heard her name being called behind her and she turned around to see who it was.
"Kitty! Hey Kitty! What are you doing over here?" It was Kara. She was Kitty's best friend. She was really Kitty's only real friend. She had her bright strawberry blond hair and her wonderful green eyes.
"Hey Kara. I was just looking for someone I thought I knew. Sorry. I should have stayed where I was"
"It's alright. Lets just go to the mall already!"
"Yeah. I guess we should get going."
"Yeah! I'm ready to pick out my prom dress! I can't wait for Eric to see how amazing I will look! My dress will be perfect!" Kitty laughed at Kara. Kara was always talkig about her wonderful boyfriend Eric. She thinks he is perfect. She keeps nagging Kitty about her needing to get a boyfriend and to not go to the prom alone when Kitty really didn't care. Kitty really didn't want a boyfriend. She still couldn't trust a guy. She went with Kara to get prom dresses. The thought of the mysterious guy was still lingering in Kitty's mind all afternoon and even in the morning when she went to school. She got a big shock at who she saw in the seat right next to hers in her first period.
She sat in her seat and watched him from the corner of her eye. She couldn't believe it! It was him! She thought about him all last night and yesterday and she thought she wouldn't seen him again until she got to school. She turned toward him and decided to try and talk to him.
"Hi. I'm Kitty. You must be new." She watched him as she introduced herself.
"Hi. I am new. I'm Damon. Nice to meet you I guess Kitty." He extended his hand which was in white gloves. They looked old. They were off white and looked like it was silk. She shook his hand and noticed how it felt cold. She figured that was the silk glove but she wasn't sure. She didn't get a chance to ask because the bell rang and she had to pay attention for class. She wanted to ask Damon more about himself. She wanted to really get to know him. She felt like someone was watching her and she looked from the corner of her eye and saw Damon watching and she bent her head over and hid her face behind her long, silky black hair. Why was he watching her? Could he want to talk to her. Why does his eyes look darker than they did yesterday? She wanted to ask him bit as the period flew by she kept herself quiet and copied down notes. She wanted to follow him to his next class to ask him things, but she didn't know where his class was. It was so strange having him watch her and she wanted to know why he was. The bell rang and he ran out of the class. She walked out in the hall and looked for him while walking to her next class. She had Geometry for second period and she had the class with Kara. She walked into the classroom and sat on her seat next to Kara and saw Kara's smile before she could even say anything.
"Hey Kara. Why are you so happy?"
"Did you see the new kid this morning? Every girl here is going crazy over him! He drives a Camaro! He looks rich! Did you see him?" Kitty laughed at Kara and thought how she goes crazy over every guy here. She has always been with Eric but she still talks and talks and talks about the other guys here.
"Yeah I saw him. His name is Damon. He sits next to me in my English two class. He isn't that hot. I mean he's attractive but I don't think he'd like a girl who still cries about her parents being killed."
"You couldn't help your parents getting killed Kitty! That wasn't your fault! How did they get killed again? I don't think you told me."
"I didn't tell you and I'm not going to tell you Kara. I want to forget about it. I think I'm going to talk to Damon at Lunch and try and get to know him." Kitty didn't really plan to. She just want to get Kara off her back about her parents. Kara doesn't know vampires exist. If she knew she would freak out. Kitty moved to the city to get away from vampires and so far she hasn't seen any. She was happy

 

As she went through her day, she kept thinking about Damon and wanting to get to know him. She looked for him at lunch and spotted him at a table in the corner alone. Se walked over and looked up at him. "Hey Damon. Can I join you for lunch?"
"Sure. I was going to stay here alone but I accept the company." Kitty looked at Damon as he talked and slowly ate her food and thought there was something different about him. She thought he might be a vampire, but that's impossible he is living in the city now. As Kitty watched around here no vampires came here. They stuck to the towns and small places. They liked to be around more of their kind.
"So why did you move here? It's not that special here and you look like you are rich. You could have gone somewhere better."
"I moved here because I wanted to get away from my family. I was tired of living alone with just them and not being able to go into civilization when i want to. I left so I wouldn't be alone." Kitty watched him and thought about why he left. Why would he want to be in a place like this? It's just a big city that no one even pays attention to you in unless you do something and being rich and living here isn't any different than being rich and living in a little town out away from people.
"Well if you need any help I can-"
"I won't need it. I already know my way around and I'm only here to finish school and then I'm leaving. I have to find someone and you wouldn't understand. No mindless little human would ever understand." Kitty caught the part about her being a mindless human and froze. He wasn't human? What was he then? Oh please don't be a vampire.
"What do you mean by a mindless human? Do you mean you aren't a human?"
"Huh? Oh! Um. Yeah I'm human. I guess. If I weren't than what would I be? A vampire or a werewolf? Those don't exist!"
Kitty thought about it for a minute and realized what he just said. Werewolves are real too? Oh no. "You don't believe in vampires or werewolves?"
"Oh. I believe in them alright. I just say that they don't exist because you should worry about them. That can ruin your life. Never get mixed up with them."
"I can't stay away from them anyway. It seems like the memory of them follows me everywhere I go. How can I stay away from them?"
"Wait. What do you mean you can't stay away from them? Why can't you stay away from them?"
"I can't stay away from vampires. One killed my parents. I came here to get away from them, but they keep coming and I keep hiding and trying to not be near them. I can't stand them. I lost my parents to them and I thought I was in lo-" Kitty caught herself before she said she was in love with one and Damon noticed what she was going to say.
"You though you were what?".
"Nothing. I don't want to talk about it. Don't bring it up. I want to forget it!" Kitty got up and went running out of the cafeteria and went home early and cried all night. She hoped to not have to talk about what happened when her parents were killed. She just wanted to forget it. She slowly drifted off to sleep and as she got to sleep she dreamt of Damon.

 

She didn't want to get out of bed and go to school, but Kara insisted. She wouldn't stop texting Kitty all morning until she agreed to go to school. When she got to the school she sat in her seat and ignored Damon the entire time. He kept trying to get her to talk to him and she refused and kept coming close to tears. This went on for the rest of the week. She told Kara she would go and stay the weekend with her just so Kara knew she was ok. When she got to her house she knocked and Kara's brother answered the door.
"Hey Kitty, Kara is in her room. You can go on up." Kitty looked at him and smiled. He is Kara's older brother and yet he is so handsome. She thought about him and had a crush on him for a while after she first met him. She grew used to him after about a year, but she was still kinda attracted to him. What could she do?
"Hey Daniel, I'll go up to her room after I go to the bathroom." Kitty went down the hall and a few minutes later she went upstairs and opened Kara's door and saw Damon sitting on her bed talking to her. She froze and looked at them wide eyed. "Kara, I thought this was just going to be a me and you weekend?"
"Huh? Oh yeah! Well I thought we could hang out with Damon too! Isn't it a good idea!" Kara didn't know the reason why Kitty ignores him all this week and she did t want to explain it to Kara. She sat on the bed and hid her face from Damon while they talked.
"Hey guys I'll be right back. I have to go tell my brother something. I'll be back in a minute." Kitty looked up shocked as Kara walked out of the room. What was she going to do in a room alone with Damon? She didn't want to talk to him at all!
"Kitty, I'm sorry of I offended you on Monday. I don't understand what I said. I just want to know what happened in your life with vampires. Please tell me. I feel really bad that I hurt you and I want to make it up to you. You are a really bright girl and you are very beautiful too. Please don't be mad at me."
Kitty looked him in his eyes for the first time since she got to Kara's house and had tears in her eyes. "I really don't want to talk about what happened. I hadn't even told Kara! Why should I tell you!"
"You should because I believe I am falling for you Kitty! I care about you!"
"You barely know me! How can you love me?".
"I don't know! I just do!" He suddenly leaned toward Kitty and kissed her. She was so shocked that she froze. Why is he kissing her? She didn't want to get close to a guy anymore. Not since what happened with Jake. She didn't want that to happen again. She couldn't help herself and she kissed him back. After a few minutes passed Damon stopped kissing Kitty and she got to catch her breath.
"What was that for?"
"I told you. I think I'm falling for you! I want to help you!"
"Why would you want to help a parentless girl like me! You can't get rid of the memories of the vampire that killed my parents! He just turned out to be a big jerk and that why I left!"
"Who was he Kitty? Who was the vampire?"
"His name is Jake. He was my boyfriend." Kitty started crying and quickly hugged Damon tight and didn't let go. "He told me he was a vampire after we had been together for a year! I thought I was in love with him! He made me feel like it! Then I came home to find my mom dead in the kitchen and-" Kitty saw it all in her mind like it was yesterday.
(flashback)
"Mom! Mom! Wake up!". She shook her mom trying to wake her up. She got up and looked for her dad. "Dad? Dad? Are you home? Hello?" Kitty hears something in her mom and dad's room so she walks in and sees Jake biting her dad's neck. She stairs at him wide eyed and scared. "Jake! What are you doing? Why did you just kill my parents? I thought you loved me!" Kitty is crying and down on her knees now. Jake walks up to her and drops her dad's lifeless body on the floor.
"Kitty, Baby, I do love you. That's why I did this. So we could be together forever. You can't stay with your parents now that they know what I am so I came to talk to them and get them to let u come with me. They refused and forced me to kill them so I an get you. I had to Baby. I love you." He tried to hug Kitty, but she flinched and moved away from him.
"Why? Why kill my parents? I loved my mom and dad! I wasn't really to leave them! I told you that I wasn't going to leave with you until I was ready to leave! Why did you not listen to me?" Kitty got up and ran to her room and quickly packed her clothes and belongings and went back to Jake and looked at him with hatred. "I will never forgive you! Don't follow me or go looking for me! I am leaving and I never want to see you again!" Kitty ran out of the house.

 

Well what I'm posting now I wrote last year... And I am working on correcting the spelling I just missed some... And it wasn't supposed to have anny text talk so I'm fixing that as well... And its supposed to be separatted into paragraphs... Idk y it didn't...

 

No no u don't understand... I am accepting what u say... Btw the title is just a starter title... And I was just saying all that cuz I felt the need too... I'm not going to post anything revised because I want to show the rough draft before I show the final copy

 

(present time)
Kitty is in Damon's arms crying and holding onto him for deal life till she fell asleep. She awoke in Damon's arms in the guest bedroom the next morning and cuddled up to him and went back to sleep thinking about how Damon didn't try and use her past against her. She smiled in her sleep.
She woke up again and laid her head on Damon's chest forgetting it was him until he spoke. "Good morning beautiful. Are you feeling better?" Kitty sat up and looked at him shocked.
"How did I end up asleep in your arms?" She thought about last night and remembered crying to sleep in Kara's room and holding tightly to someone who was comforting her. "Oh my God! Did I tell you what happened? Oh God! I didn't want anyone to know about that! I didn't want anyone to know about Jake! You can't tell anyone!" She looked at him sitting up and he apparently took his shirt off sometime last night. He has a very nice chest and abs Kitty thought. She was looking at his chest until she felt his hand on her cheek a few minutes later and looked up into his eyes. Why do they look even darker? When Kitty first saw them they were bright blue and now they were dark blue, almost black! "What happened to your eyes? They were a bright blue when I first saw them. They are almost black now. What happened?"
"That's something I would have to explain about myself, but you might now want to ever see me again if I tell you. I love you Kitty. Please promise me you won't hate me when I tell you." Kitty looked deep in his eyes and saw he really did care. A handsome, rich guy like Damon really likes a small, broke, emotional girl like Kitty.
"I can try."
"Promise me first. Promise me you won't run away or hate me after I tell you. Please Kitty promise me."
"I promise Damon. I won't run away or hate you. I promise." She surprised herself and Damon when she leaned forward and kissed him all of a sudden. They kissed for a few minutes and then they leaned away from each other.
"I love you Kitty. Remember that even after I tell you about myself."
"I will Damon. I love you too. I can't believe it but I actually love a guy even after I said I wouldn't."
"Well I hope that love is real because you might freak out after I tell you what I have to." Kitty watched Damon as he got ready to tell her and she held her breath as he began to speak. "Kitty, I know you hate vampires because of what Jake did to you, but they aren't all like that. I'm not like that. Kitty, I myself am a vampire. I hate to have to tell you with you hating them because of Jake, but he is nothing. Forget him for me my love. And don't hate me just because I'm a vampire." Kitty looked at him shocked and stopped breathing for a few minutes trying to respond to what he said. She finally got herself under control and backed up from him quickly frightened.
"You are a vampire! Why? Why try and get in love with me then! I can't believe you didn't tell me before! Why Damon? Why? Why did I have to fall for another vampire? Is my lie destined to be with a dangerous vampire? Why can't they just leave me alone? Why?" Kitty is on her knees crying when Kara walked in the room and looked at Kitty and then at Damon.
"What just happened? Why is Kitty crying? Is she ok?". Kara runs up to Damon and looks at him seriously.
"She is crying and upset about what happened to her parents. She was since last night. I comforted her until she fell asleep last night and she just freaked out about it again just now. I will comfort her then we will come downstairs. Go on down and tell your brother she is alright because I think he heard the commotion."
"Alright. See you both in a few." Kara walks out and Damon sits on the floor next to Kitty and holds her gently.
"Hey, calm down. It's ok. I really do care about you. I have cared about you for a while now. Please don't hate me. Stop crying Beautiful. It will be alright. Jake can't hurt you anymore and if her comes near you and tried to I will kill him. Don't worry. Ok?" Kitty stopped crying and hugged Damon lightly then went to clean her face when they heard a scream coming from downstairs. It was Kara. Something scared her and nothing scares her like this. Kitty looked at Damon and then they both ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. Damon was behind Kitty when she got in the doorway and froze.

"Jake?"
"Hey there Kitty. I told you I would find you. And I did. Now you can come and join me at last my darling." Kitty stared at Jake shocked and frozen. Why is he here?
Kitty felt Damon hold onto her protectively and leaned back on him. "Kitty doesn't love you anymore Jake. She loves me. Go away and never come back. You are a very untrustworthy vampire. Leave Kitty alone." Damon gets in front of Kitty and pounces at Jake. Jake blocks Damon and they start fighting.
"Damon! Jake! Stop fighting! Please! Oh God why do they have to fight over me?" Kitty looks at Kara then at Daniel and runs to Kara. "Daniel help me get her upstairs! She can get hurt with them fighting like this!"
Daniel walks over to Kitty and picks up Kara. "I got her. Let's go upstairs. They will stop soon." Kitty runs up the stairs and opens Kara's door. Daniel lays her on the bed and checks her for anything. "Kara is alright, but we need to get them to stop fighting. I don't want to have to but I know of one way I can get them to stop." Daniel goes back to the fight and Kitty runs after him.
"Don't hurt yourself because of a couple of vampires are fighting over me Daniel! It's worthless!"
"No, it's not Kitty. They are in my territory and I was fine with Damon here because Kara had him over but Jake I don't want here. I have to protect my sister!"
"No! Let me end it myself!" Kitty runs past Daniel and right between Jake and Damon. "Stop fighting and listen to me!" They stopped and watched her. "Jake, if you will stay away from here then I will go with you and never hurt my friend again!"
"Kitty! No! Don't!" Damon was looking at her shocked.
"I have to Damon. I can't let him hurt you or Kara again. It's for the best." Kitty kissed Damon's cheek and hugged Daniel then walked over to Jake and looked down. "Where are we going to?"
"We are going to my home. After you left me I found somewhere new where I thought you might be happy. Let's go." Jake picks Kitty up and walks out of the house and heads to his truck and drives to his home as Damon and Daniel watch shockingly.
"I'm sorry Damon." Kitty whispers and wipes away tears.

 

As they pull up to Jake's house Kitty sees Jake's brother. Of douse he would live with him. The two vampires can't stand to lose their family. Kitty thought about how it would be to be with Jake again and sadly got out of the car and walked up to the house with Jake.
"I will show you to your room so you can het clothes to change into and then you can get a shower. I'm sure you will feel better about living with me after a few days. Forget that other vampire. He doesn't care for you as much as I do. Look at me Kitty." Kitty looked up into Jake's green eyes. "I love you Kitty. You made me go crazy trying to find you and get you back. I'm sorry for killing your parents Baby. Please forgive me." Jake kisses Kitty's cheek and lead her upstairs to her room. "I will see you after you get your shower and we will have dinner ok Baby?"
"Yeah sure. Whatever." Kitty went into her room and looked for a pair of jeans and a tshirt. She finally found some after about twenty minutes of looking and she went to get her a shower. While she was alone in the shower she cried. She missed Damon. She also missed Daniel. Most of all she missed Kara. She finished up her shower and went downstairs to the kitchen and sat at the table.
"Smile Baby. We are together again. Don't worry about anything. I will take care of you and you won't have to deal with anything. Just don't leave me again." Jake handed Kitty a plate with fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit on it for her to eat.
"Thanks." She ate the food and went up ringer room and cried all night till she fell asleep.

 

(present time, city)
Damon is walking back and forth quickly in Kara's bedroom with Kara and Daniel sitting on Kara's bed.
"We have to get her back. Why did she go with him? Why did she leave for us. I could have took care of him for her! I love her." A tear fell from Damon's eye as he slowed down and stopped walking.
"We can go after them. It couldn't be that far away that Jake lives. We can go and kill him when they least expect it." Daniel suggested and stood up.
"What could I do?"
"Nothing Kara. You are only human. I am your older brother and a werewolf. I am supposed to protect you and mom. That's what dad told me to do before he left. That's what I'm going to do. You aren't old enough to change into a wolf yet. You can't help us. Just stay here."
"Then why don't you two just stay here and wait a week before you go after Kitty. That will give Jake time to think you two didn't care about her and him met his guard down."
"All right we will. But as soon as this week is up Daniel and I are going for Kitty." Damon walked to the door and looked over his shoulder. "I am going home now. Don't do anything stupid and get hurt. I will see you tomorrow. Bye." Damon walked out of the door and then the house and went home. He was worried about Kitty so much that he could hardly get to sleep. He tried and kept thinking of Kitty. Why did she leave?
(present time, country)
"Kitty, my darling Kitty, wake up. It's morning." Kitty opened her eyes and saw Jake at the foot of the bed.
"Go away. Let me sleep." Jake walked to the side of the bed and sat down beside Kitty.
"Why should I leave you alone of it is time for you to get up. We have to go to school."
"I'm not in school here Jake."
"You will be. We are enrolling you into the school I go to. You will love it there." Kitty got out of bed and grabbed some clothes not even looking at them.
"Fine. Just know that I didn't come with you because I love you. I hate you for killing my parents. I came because I didn't want you to hurt my friends or Damon."
"Damon is a nobody. All he is is a weak vampire. He couldn't save you if a werewolf attacked and if I hadn't came when I did one probably would have. I smelled a wolf there and I knew it would try and kill you if I didn't get you out of there. Kitty you must remember all the good times we had together. Remember when we went to the most popular girl in school's birthday party and we danced the night away and the twins, Tyra and Tina, were jealous because you were the protruded girl there. Remember that night Baby."
She did remember. That night was fun. She remembered the beautiful dress she wore. She sold it after she left because she needed the money and didn't want to remember that night. "That was the night you told me you were a vampire. I don't want to remember that night." Kitty thought about how Jake was so desperate for her to love him again that she got an idea. She could pretend to love him until he trusts he enough to think she isn't going to leave and let's her go out on her own and then she will run off again. She can do that in a week. It was perfect. "I will go to school with you. Just don't expect me go like it. I'm going to take classes that I want to take and not what you want me to take." Kitty walked to the bathroom and locked the door. She smiled at herself in the mirror and changed clothes. She thought of a way to make Jake think she loved him so she put her hair up and put on some makeup. She had to make a good impression for her first day too. She wanted to get out of here and back home before prom. She promised Kara she would go to prom and she is going to keep that promise. She walked out of the bathroom and and up to Jake. "What do you think?" She turned in a circle slowly and giggled and winked at Jake.
"You look fabulous my love. Now let's go. We don't want to be late do we?" Jake bent down and kisses Kitty and she kissed him back even though she found it repulsive. They left for school and she held his hand wishing he were Damon and that she was back in the city.

(present time, city)
Damon just woke up and was getting dressed. "Why did I have to promise Kara I'd wait a week to go and get Kitty. What if he kills her before then. I can't trust him. Kitty only went with him because of us. We owe her. I owe her. I knew it was her when I saw her. How could I lose her so easily again. I love her. I must get her back." Damon left the house and went to school where he met up with Daniel and Kara. They were standing by Daniel's car waiting for him.
"Hey Damon. How was your night?"
"It was fine Kara. I just want this week to end so I can get Kitty back. She means a lot to me."
"She can't mean that much to you if you only met her last week. How could you care that much about her in only a week?"
"It hasn't been a week! It has been centuries! I kept losing her every time she was reborn. I first met her three hundred years ago! Her name was Annabeth then. She was a beautiful girl. She was gentle and kind. She had all the men falling for her. I was only seventeen when I first met her. She was the daughter of a very important man and he wouldn't let just anyone have his daughter. She disobeyed him and ran off with me. He wanted her to marry Jake. That's why I was shocked to see him take Kitty. It was he who took her as Annabeth, Jesse Bell, Malinda, and now as Kitty. I have to get her back. He fell in love with her at the same moment I did because we used to be best friends when we met Annabeth. She stole Jake's heart and he never gave up on taking her from me. He was determined to have her and me have to go without. His brother just sat back and watched as we fought over her for centuries. When I saw her in the middle of the city when I first got here I knew it was her. She looks just as she did as Annabeth. She always had those gorgeous green eyes and a sweet way of talking to people. I had hoped Jake hadn't gotten to her, but I was wrong. She told me what happened to her parents and I almost ran out of your room Kara and went after him, but I stayed for her." Damon walked to class and left Daniel and Kara standing by the car as the bell rang and class started. He couldn't stop thinking about Kitty. He almost left school early because he couldn't keep his emotions under control. He was so mad at Jake for taking her again for the forth time. She meant so much to him and Jake didn't know why. If he did then maybe he would stop taking her and look for another. He can't stand to lose her again.
(present time, country)
Kitty was headed to Jake's car when the bell for everyone to go home rang. She was ready to start pretending to love him. He wouldn't know what happened when she was done with him. All she thought of was Damon and getting back home. When she got to the car Jake wasn't there. She sat he stuff on the hood and leaned against the car. She saw one of the senior boys from her class. She seemed to be the only junior in that class too. He walked up to Kitty and smiled.
"What are you doing by Jake's car? I think you should be by mine. Better yet why not in my car?" Kitty laughed unamused and kept looking for Jake.
"I'm by Jake's car because he is my ride home."
"I can take you home. You look like a hot little piece of ass. I want to try a piece of you." He suddenly grabbed Kitty and forced her to kiss him and started ripping her shirt off. She screamed and kicked him. She couldn't get lose from his grip because he was too strong but she kept wiggling and got lose.
"Leave me alone!" He lunged for her and Kitty kicked him right in the face and punched him in the stomach with all her strength.
"Kitty! Are you ok? What happened? I heard you scream and I came running!" She looked up and saw Jake running toward her so she hit the other boy in a pressure point and made sure he was knocked out then ran toward Jake and hugged him. "It's alright Baby. I'm here now. Calm down." Kitty realized her shirt was torn in half and she was falling out of her bra. She looked Jake in the eyes and kissed him.
"Jake, please don't let that happen to me again. I was almost raped in the school parking lot!" Jake looked down at Kitty and took off his jacket.
"Here put this on. I won't let you get hurt again. I love you."
"I love you too." Kitty forced herself to say it and started crying. Jake looked down at the other boy and laughed.
"You won in a fight against Aaron! He's the strongest guy here. Well I'm the strongest but people don't know that. But you won against him! Kitty no one has been able to beat him! I should have figured you would. But did you have to knock him out. And look at all you new friends you can have because they were watching you!" Kitty looked at everyone who was watching her and stopped crying.
