Background. My girlfriend and I argue about god and such sometimes. Just for laughs. So, I decided to write her a story on how the universe was "actually" made. Our Universe: Explained Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, and by the way, this isn’t on earth, it’s in another dimension, or universe: there was a man. This was no ordinary man, nor was he part of an ordinary civilization. At least it wasn’t ordinary to us. This man was a wealthy man, who was blessed with a beautiful wife. There were divine beings, you see. Yet, they had no power in the world they lived in. This was because every being was equal. No one was any better or worse than another individual. Every individual was flawless. The world as they knew it had not always been that way. Many years ago, the divine walked on the same ground as the flawed. These flawed beings were known as the sinners. They were led by a serpentine like being named Pandora. Problems had been common in those times. The divine, after millions of years of having to deal with the sinners, had enough. They weeded them out and got rid of every single one of them: purifying the world in which they lived. This great triumph was known as, “Pandora’s Fall”. Even with every sinner being gone for eternity, they could not get rid of the sins that they had been infected with. These were: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. One man had to lock these away forever. The task came with great risk. For he who would have to do the deed, risked being infected. One man was chosen to lock away the sins. Even with his great attempts, the man got infected. He was spared all the sins but one: envy. The man never allowed anyone to figure this out. His bloodline would forever more carry this sin. So the man chosen to lock away the sins, passed the word through his bloodline, by each father telling his son, to conceal the secret of their sin. This brings us back to the unordinary man from an unordinary civilization. This is because this man fell into the bloodline of the man chosen to lock away the sins. Through time, he became very envious of the other divine beings. He thought repeatedly that his wife might leave him for another man. The cause of this was that his envy blinded him from reality. The reality was that the wife was flawless, and he had nothing to be worried about. The envy which burdened him, got the best of him. He decided that the only way he could ensure that she belonged to him, and him only, was to exile her to a place where no man could compare to himself: thus making sure that she would only have love for him. He created a new world, in a new galaxy, in a new universe. With the creation of this universe, and all it contained, he created many objects, which he called planets and stars. He created rules which the universe, and its nature, would abide by. He then picked a planet, and he positioned it in such a way that it could be the one planet to harbor life. He then placed scores of creatures, of all kinds, upon this planet. After all had been made, he then created one dominant race. This dominant race mirrored the race to which he belonged. The unordinary man from an unordinary civilization, being the ancestor of the man chosen to lock away all sins, had access to the artifact with the appellation of “Pandora’s Box.” He took this box and thrust it, while opening it, into this new world, in a new galaxy, in a new universe. Thus forcing all these sins upon the creatures created to inhabit there. The result was making all of these creatures, more flawed than he. With one final action, he forced his wife into spending an eternity there, with no means of return. He thought it to be the ultimate solution. How could he be jealous when the only men surrounding her wer inferior to him? Well, the unordinary man from an unordinary civilization, was right. He was rid of his envy. With this, he realized that he had made a great mistake. Saddened, he swore to himself, and to her name, that he would watch over and take care of her, as well as all the people of this dominant race which mirrored his own: and forever more, he did. The wife had spread stories over many years, rumoring his existence of the one and only divine being she cared for. Words were jumbled as the story passed from man to man. This resulted in the unordinary man from an unordinary civilization, being forever more, referred to as divine, or God.
