Noob guide to Farming

So here are some tips I have heard from others and a few I have come up with regarding farming/stripfarming.

Farming an account- Obviously more then 4 hits of any type on another player.

Stripping an account- Purchasing all a player's allies and then farming them hard and fast till the player has no gold.

What to do if getting farmed:
Self-pin instantly on EB's/Quests/ALTS's. Any gold you have out will be taken so your first priority is to spend it. Buildings/land/upgrades/allies/pots are all suitable investment ideas. Once done you can concentrate on staying pinned and wait till attacking player gets over trying to farm you, or hit back until opposing player decides he has had enough, or it turns into a strip war.

NEVER POST ON HIS/HER WALL!

What to do if being stripped:
Self-pin instantly on EB's/Quests/ALTS's. Any gold you have out will be taken so your first priority is to spend it. Dropping allies could be a viable option so you can pot, etc gold without having to watch your KAW account 24/7 provided you are busy with real life issues. Buildings/land/upgrades/pots are also all suitable investment ideas. Pots would be your best option here as you can sell them at end of strip war to buy allies to once again be at Max Plunder. Don't buy defense pots because the enemy will just burn through them and you'll still end up with nothing. Buy attack pots of your weakest attack-eg, you are attack build, means you buy spy attack pots. After all you don't wanna save gold in pots you are going to waste on hitting futilely back with.
Another tactic is to delete all wall posts on your wall and make status say you're from a complete different timezone to attempt to trick attackers into thinking you're offline and ignorant of incoming hits. Whereas you will be seeing incoming and be able to self-pin and spend gold ASAP.

There is also the option of giving up and going inactive for an indeterminate amount of time (less than 6 months or acc gets deleted) or resetting, which is really just pathetic.

When strip farming and wanting to remain unknown:
First- Talk to target with Alt or friend . Find out when they sleep, who they're friends with, and their attitude towards their account and it's property.
Second- Recruit friends to help. An evenly split amount of spy and attack builds would be optimum. Number of hitters depends on amount of gold target has. Also a bank to hire allies off target who would be willing to drop them also to remain anonymous should target remember allies names.
Third- Ensure target offline via spy you have placed. Then bank comes in, buys and drops allies. Then attack and steal for 5-6 hours (average person sleep of 8 hours) with your att/spy builds.
Fourth- Steal with large spy builds who have a great chance of winning at least 50 times with ALL success. This will hide all hits from attack builds and Allie hiring as the notifications tab only accepts 50 updates.
Fifthly- Congratulate yourselves. And pray you didn't slip up. Always be prepared for retaliation.

I agree with carebear but for the sake of noob arguments and crying I'll define it as per the '5 hits = farming' guideline that is so widely known
